Question of the Day Spotlight

Ilene Dover

As part of your WHPR today, we draw your attention to one of the programs run by the Department of Citizen Affairs. This is not a salacious version of Tinder for eRepublik, but rather an arm of the executive that manages assistance and training programs.

Today we will put a spotlight on Question of the Day, or QoTD.

QoTD is based provides a small amount of food (energy) to players in Division 1 and Division 2. If you're under level 50 and an eUS citizen then you're eligible! The energy distributed will easily cover your daily minimum tasks of working and training. Who doesn't need some help covering the energy costs of all these battles during the second Resource Wars?

Now because DoCA aims towards newer players and has a responsibility to teach put citizenry talk, you will have to answer a question to get your food. These are astonishingly difficult, such as “Who is the current Country President?” This will help you to learn something about gameplay or the eUS community if you participate.

And if you are new. Like really really new? Our advice to you is to use the QoTD food to cover your daily tasks. Don’t run your food factory because that will earn XP. Unlike most games in the world, XP is the enemy! You don’t want any more XP than you have to accumulate.

Resource Wars Update

Kalos Hoenn

Resource Wars have never been more complex than they are now. When you compare the previous Resource War with the current and updated version - well one can say that there might be a few tweaks here and there. With the inclusion of the Unknown Industry that has everyone itching to know what it’ll be... this time around it will be more than just grabbing full bonuses, but a fight to the top.

I met up with a couple of our Training War buds - Ireland and the United Kingdom and spoke with their CPs AMD and Sluagh on how they perceive the Resource Wars. When asked about their collaboration within their own countries, Sluagh responde😛 “Well it's different to anything that's ever been required before...it's given us greater coordination as its only two-three hours that really matter in any campaign to us.” Aaron Mark Daniels answere😛 “We realized that we need to coordinate and strengthen our resolve...and realized our lack of it and where to improve.”

When it came to knowing if their country has had any strengthened relations with other countries, both CPs agreed that it was a step forward for future negotiations and friendly relations. “We enjoy better relations now with the USA and Australia,” responded Sluagh. AMD adde😛 “It has strained some few, but overall some relations have grown.”

Going into depth with eUS CP Tyler Bubblar we dwelled into the matter a bit further. When asked about coordination and time management Tyler sai😛 “We've got a very strong team in place, Yui1 takes command at the IRC level, Resoula is fantastic with communicating our intentions with our TW partners, and you Kalos have been spectacular at changing priorities updating and communicating to the citizenry.”

I commented to Tyler about the Unknown Industry and what he thought about it, he sai😛 “Well all I can do is speculate, but according to Plato this industry will help new players have an impact immediately...I hope that's the case. I miss the days when we had hundreds of new players every day and new players would burst on the scene with enthusiasm and energy.”

With the Admins steering the ship, and the countries in eRepublik maneuvering the sails, dominating is only an achievement to gain but a hope for more citizenry to stay with the ship is something to look forward to.

With so many headaches for everyone and the Resource Wars heading towards the middle of the term, I asked the CP’s something that was off-topic- a thing you must never do in an interview! Their responses were, in this case, DELICIOUS.

Asking CPs AMD, Sluagh, and Tyler Bubblar about their favorite pie the answers were nothing but yummy. Tyler prefers a key lime pie - it leaves a sugary sour taste that will have you eating until you realize you finished the whole pie. Sluagh had asked to keep it a secret - it was an Irish pie that I keep believing may contain alcohol. AMD replied with apple pie - custard. Not American pie, but British pie... as if there was a difference.

Thanks for reading this piece - and I hope you go out and enjoy some pie while fighting for America! Join #ResourceWars for tactical coordination, and a friendly reminder to stay updated with the DoD Articles being published daily.

The USAF Newsletter is Open for Business

George Armstrong Custer

As part of the long awaited restructure and revitalization of the United States Armed Forces, Commander Hale Kane has reactivated the MU's official newspaper, under the direction of Illiguy and "Old Man" Custer. Within a day of the newspaper and its home Org being reunited, the first edition of the USAF Newsletter was on the stands, and within twelve hours it was in the Top 5 of American media.

While the Newsletter will, of course, present news specifically targeting USAF soldiers, plus the expected topics of USAF recruitment and national propaganda, the new media team intends to develop the newspaper to include War News and features of interest to a much broader audience. "We've got some pretty exciting and ambitious plans for the newspaper," Custer says. "The Newsletter will very quickly become a staple in American media."

Our Weekend Edition goes to press just hours after tonight’s WHPR, so do watch for it.
