[TNT] Now is the time to make a choice

Disclaimer: Before anyone out there point it out, I'd rather get it out of the way right ahead. I'm bitching and I haven't been as active as I used to. I decided to prioritize real life over the game and thus has reduced my involvement in this country to a minimum. That being said, I am still saddened when I see what kind of joke we have turned out to be, what mockery remains of this great country. And this is why I feel I need to make this plea.

We have been blind for so long, I feel like it's been an eternity, coating ourselves in lies and propaghanda. Maybe it was to help us sleep better at the end of the day, maybe it was to serve personnal agendas, or it was simply out of revenge that we walked that path. Whatever the reason be for it, I don't want to look at the past, or even point fingers, but we have to open our eyes. This country has had what I would refer as a train wreck for a foreign policy. Without wanting to judge the actual work perpetrated by the various sec of state, I will give them that it was a difficult context and the demands we're quite high. But it remains that we have wanted different outcomes that simply cannot be attained at the same time.

Many in this country have worked tirelessly for a third way, days and nights they made meetings in order to reach a compromise, a solution, our salvation. Yet, it was not attained, mainly because the world refused to change. But that didn't stopped us, we would still search this haven, this new garden of eden, better than the last one. And at some point, I think short of solution, we started looking for temporary fix. Something that would ease our minds and provide us with conforts. However, it would be a lure, because the inherent problem would not be addressed, that of truly attaining a third way.



For some time I gave the runner a chance, althought reluctant at first, I did gave it a try (as a congressman). I voted yes. And as we we're filled with hope, we marched toward our destiny as our own prophets we're gleaming with joy. Alas, we we're played. As our kindness and dreams we're answered with deception, we rushed for another solution amongst the storm. The mass needed something else, something for them to keep hoping.

And this is how this circle of trust became the last bastion of freedom, or so we we're told. A house that would be separated from Eden and Two, or is it really? Can we really attain this state of independance?

As much as it pains me to say it, but as I venture in my fourth year in this game, I realize that we will always live in a bipolar world. Either leaning on the right or the left, nor being better or evil, simply right or left. Simple human beings that just want what's best for their country. Ranging from the 12 years old kids who would like to step his game up to the middle aged man who looks for a little confort away from all tasks in the real life. Just like you and me.

And where does that leave us after all this deliberation that I dragged you into for a few paragraph? We look to join, or at least that's what the exec said, an alliance that is being presented as a third way. However, CoT is not a third way, it is simply an alliance that has the same goal and interest as TWO, the main driver being the destruction of Eden. Now that being said, We cannot hope to enter CoT and spark some fire between the two sworn brothers of TWO and CoT. They will walk the very same path for quite some time yet. We better get used to it, they love Serbia and the balkans in CoT, something that we seem to forget on a regular basis in the WHPR release. Speaking of War on serbia and friendship in CoT is either ignorance or propaghanda.

Our options are limited, I can only see two at the momment given the current situation (and my limited amount of information that I'm sure some good ol exec will surely highlights in the comments). These two being either to return to the Pro ''TEDEN/TERRA/Whatever you want to call it'' or to bury the hatchet with serbia and start a new chapter in CoT with a semi friendly relationship with serbia/hungary. People will jump at me for even remotely proposing this, but it's true, why would we even consider joining CoT if we intend on spreading hate and mistrust. Almost every member of CoT distrust us a bit, and they would never side with us in a serbia/america fight. They are deeply connected to that country, the sooner we realise that, the sooner we can stop fooling around and make some progress.

Should we choose the first option, I would however say that we definetly are in for some defeats and hard battles. It wouldn't be easy, but why should it be? For too long we have tried to go only for the easy solution, so much that we have grown fat and complacent. Always avoiding ennemies of our size, to deliberatly attack smaller countries, countries like Taiwan (and at 2vs1 with brazil at that!). Well maybe it's time to change our thinking and start acting like everyone is claiming we are, the best nation of this game. HEAR ME ROAR!



Or we could go with the second option, it's going to require quite a few compromise, like accepting to work with the PTOers, because there is no other way to fix this country if we intend to have them as ally. Because that's what we are doing right now, we are allying with most of the nations that are in the AFA. Maybe changing our flags would ease their mind, who knows. And one thing is sure, should we choose this path, we would know only victory. You cannot take almost all of the euro night time damage on one side and not get result. We are important for this very reason, along with brazil, argentina and chile. If 75% of that dmg always go on one side, there is no way that PRO TEDEN force will be able to stop us. And the goal of certain individuals would be acheived, the destruction of Eden, a personnal vendetta that they have been pursuing for quite some time.



Whatever they choose, I hope that America will make it's decision known. We are too late for half solutions. Hypocrits should be gone and let this country make a decision that will be final. Not a halfassed fix that will only create problems in the short terms.

AMERICA, GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR A**!

On this, I'd like to remind everyone that it's just a game and enjoy some time with your family and don't forget to party for the new year's eve! I know I will, not sure I will remember it however! And most importantly, don't drink and drive, the cost is too high.
