Join the new world

The Introduction

This is it, my final article for the February Presidential term. I hope people have been pleased with what has happened this month, otherwise I have deprived myself of sleep for nothing! A lot of things have changed, but some things have stayed the same. Here is an update of everything that has happened this month.



The month so far

Region Releases

Romandie was successfully recovered from Slovenia on the 22nd. With Sirius support, CO’s and the determination of the Swiss people, we won the region back.

Deutschschweiz and Svizzera italiana we released back to us from Germany after they successfully beat Slovenia in an all-out Sirius offensive against them. However please note Graubunden is to stay under German occupation, it is in our best interest for them to be there



Congress

After successfully releasing Romandie, two NE proposals (http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/Switzerland/139542 and http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/Switzerland/139573 ) enough time had passed to ensure that we had congress. You can find out all you need to know in Uros012’s congress article here. He is your speaker of congress so if you have any queries or questions, send them to him!



International Affairs

In the beginng of the month we renewed our MPP with our longstanding ally Macedonia. Along with renewing a MPP with an ally, we re-signed the Chocolate Treaty with Belgium, further strengthening the ties between our nations. Over the rest of the month we have been schmoozing with our new allies in Sirius and Almost Sirius. We may sign some more MPP’s before the end of the term, we are just waiting on a few countries congress’s to debate the law.



Home Affairs

Gyantse, our wonderful Minister of Education has done a smashing job this month. With many simply guides for new players. He deserves a lot of praise for all his work, he has done a phenomenal job. Here are his articles:

Presidential Updates

The month started off with the http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-swiss-gov-the-official-cabinet-february-2014-2371357/1/20 I only fired two cabinet members this term, which I feel is a success. Of all the cabinet members, the most active were Trogdorthetroll100, Goopypants, Rican and Gyantse. I owe you guys a depth of gratitude for the effort you have put in this month, I am grateful. Sadly I didn’t get to use Kimiyimi to his full potential, however I would highly recommend that whoever is next in government to include him. On the first day of the term he messaged Every single MoFA in the eWorld.

The second update was just a simple update of what all the different ministers had done so far. It was a slow start to the month, however by the next update, a lot had changed.

This leads us nicely onto the very special presidential update which officially announced our alignment with Sirius and thanking our allies for supporting us in the Resistance war.



Final Note
