Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,
We at Revolution and Libertas have a rich history of challenging the authorities when it was utmost needed. Back in 2013 we joined a broad coalition to remove the absolute and undemocratic hierarchy that was ruling over the eNetherlands at the time. We thought our main purpose was fulfilled, but we were very wrong. Sadly, that ''revolution'' has been hijacked by elements that have been treating our country like a playground ever since it's existence. Based on the mere assumption they are the best to rule over us - because they have been around since the birth of our country - they have established themselves in all parts of our country's system as parasites, defying elections and the public's will.
It's time to rise up!
It's clear that Revolution and Libertas is needed more than ever. Enough is enough. We do not want a country in which political opponents are manipulated, ridiculed and excluded from participation. We do not want a country in which the only goal each months seems to be guaranteeing the survival of clique in power, instead of progressing our country by consolidating (war) opportunities. We do not want a country in which we trade occupants of half of our country with the same ease as a shepherd brings his animals to the slaughterhouse. We do not want a country in which (foreign) honourable eForeigners are being excluded, unless they serve the political agenda of the establishment.
We do not want a country in which political titles are being made up and handed out as favours. We do not want a country in which the laws are bended, sometimes even broken, exclusively in the favour of the elite. We do not want a country in which the most important institutions of our country - The Government, Congress, our IRC Channels and our National Forums - are ruled by a network of Old Boys which desperately cling on to the powergrabbing nostalgia, in which the establishment live their own (political) reality, all while the rest of the Dutch are being excluded from those essential institutions ensuring they at least have some kind of (symbolic) power regardless of what happens in our actual eCountry. We do not want our country ruined and polluted any longer.

Just because a ''wrong'' faction said something about the other ''wrong'' faction doesn't mean they were incorrect.
In fact, those institutions were the only ones in which they couldn't get power - despite the fact they ''democratically'' and legally should have had - because the powerclingers (mainly manoeuvred by I&W) desperately hijacked those, making the situation back then even worse by splitting the bureaucracy in 2 political parts; making our country ungovernable back then.
so who got denied their access as cm/gov member? as far as i know everybody that needs access somewhere gets it asap after election results.
true sometimes it might take longer because people either don't register on irc or don't even visit it. or they have a different nick on the forum or irc, etc. but who's fault is that?
It's generally known that these places are very unfriendly towards those who are not in favour with those who have the administrative power on those institutions. It goes both ways really, but there is a reason why many players (even those with a lot of ambition and time) are avoiding the forums and the IRC channel.
avoiding those places shows a lack of commitment, if you want to be politically active, you need to be on the forum and irc. as you full well know yourself. not visiting there is detrimental to yourself if you want a career outside of stupidly mashing buttons in the battlepage.

Thanks for proving my point. Once again, because you obviously already did in your preferential mistreatment of the Aries Prime citizenship application in your position as Minister of Home Affairs.
he was neither expat nor HC, so giving people time to respond on the matter was called for. and some of us do need sleep, i can't help it he applied in the middle of the night in our time zone.
There was no need to await the decision a whole night, when you accepted comparative applications in the past within a whim. Also, you have a State Secretary who's living in the exact opposite time zone of ours which could have handled the application if that is the reasoning you want to excuse yourself with.
perhaps the ss agreed with me that giving people the change to review the case was the right choice? or perhaps he was busy? it's not like a couple of hours extra hurt aries.

no it wasn't rejected. they are just shocked / appalled we didn't accept him instantly.
Yes I do agree with odan that others should be able to speak their minds before just accepting him, which is the reason I didn't accept him while odan was sleeping as he would take care of it when he woke up.
There was no harm done in waiting the couple hours he did, though I do agree there was no case for refusing Aries. You're making a far bigger point of it than it is and use it to target my party instead of the single member.

Well to be fair, I think a former NL CP who dedicated as much time and effort into the nation such as Aries is a no brainer, that is just my humble opinion though.
well i believe in giving the people time to process it. what if for example somebody came forward to tell about something that happened in between like the applicant damaging relations while abroad or fighting against the nation.
I would say he was in a different nation so he was representing that nation in relations and fighting for his current nation.
I just don't think I would want to be judged because I fought for Norway against the NL if I wanted to return to the NL. So I wouldn't judge someone else for doing so either.

not applicable for this particular case, but you also have people that fight against the country in other ways. that can be considered in applications.
It took a whopping 10 hours and 9 minutes after the application was posted on the forums before it was accepted. Being without an afternoon it means that a lot of players were unable to voice their opinion in the mean time. I can only conclude that Aries got a special treatment here.
Especially in an article where politicians are accused of bending and breaking laws it is very strange that our MoHA is accused of NOT following a protocol for immigration??? 😮

As far as I'm concerned Josh, you would be a welcome addition if you ever decided to return. I know that probably won't happen since you are settled in Norway, so perhaps the next best step is rebuilding those bridges, eh?

Just wanted to say that, being owner of the main IRC-channels and admin of the forums, I'm getting very tired of again being accused of powergrabbing...
seems like instead of finding stuff that is real they just go back to an old tactic by a certain Persona Non Grata.
I don't believe anyone is accusing you of powergrabbing, Heikanu. I've always known you to be pretty impartial.
Short-sighted people see you're in I&W and have no real arguments against our party. It's sad but to be expected when you're in a party that is politically flawless.
Everyone can freely participate and become an Old Boy. Only takes moderate intelligence and activity.
