Its time that I write another article to update you on what's been going on the past few days.



What's going on in Asgard

The sector I have been most busy in is keeping on track with our foreign affairs and keeping updated with our allies. Today I had the chance to attend a couple of meetings with Asgard, in which we came to a first agreement with Lithuania and discussed the options we had concerning the airstrike proposed by FYROM. My request is that you do not hit for Sweden against Lithuania in any battles at this time!

Today day 2273 so I have sat in meetings with Lithuania along with the rest of Asgard. During this meeting, we have managed to reach a first agreement, it reads as such:

-From now on, Sweden and Lithuania only to make use of the auto-attacks and the attacking side must not win.

-The Lithuanian Government will meanwhile war going on to discuss a wider peace with his Parliament.

-The next meeting will take place within a week

This means in practice that the war continues, but we will remain in the position we are now. We have an attack on Lithuania started, we're not going to win it and after we lost, it is time for Lithuania to attack and then it's their turn to lose, and then it's our turn again.
A classic ping pong-war where neither side is allowed to win.

This is a good first step and a success in the negotiations which have previously been completely still. It is too early to say how this will end, but we hope of course that this can lead to a lasting peace with Lithuania.

This should give us space to handle UK and try to get them away from Scandinavia, but early this morning came a bolt from the blue in Macedonia suggests an airstrike against Norway.

FYROM is seeking to secure a Congress when they go on beating of Greece, FYROM have not talked with any of Asgard-States before the proposed airstriken, so during the evening, we sat in a meeting with FYROM's president in an attempt to sort out what is happening. We have tried to persuade FYROM to discontinue its airstrike as they still claim that they are our "friends", however, it is very doubtful if that becomes the case. Go FYROM's airstrike through it means that the Asgard may further a war on our hands, we are not pleased that countries adversely affects the Asgards borders without discussing this with us, friends as well as enemies.

Last but not least, I would like to thank all the eSvenskar for the amazing feat of Scania, it's been a long time since we won a MPP-battle and this really helped us in negotiations with Lithuania today. You can be proud of yourselves and eSverige is really on the rise! Thank You!

National Committee

I have also finally formalized and created the national committee, the members are: taulen, indigodavo95, Joshua Morriseau and Marco van Tassen. Together we will discuss potential PTO threats and issue warning statements before each of the elections. We as Norway need to be on our guard at this time as our population has been steadily growing, a lot of newer players. We also need to keep an close eye on the Norwegian Royal Party and the threats that they bring to our county especially when the congress elections are drawing closer.



Ministry of Education and Solidarity

I want to bring to our newer players attention who are serious within our community about the guide that Magnus Barelegs has put together about the IRC channels. I was quite impressed with his work and look forward to what else he will be putting together, now our newer player have the chance to find out how to immerse themselves within the Norwegian community, its a good way to get involved. I also take the chance now to invite you to come join us on our national channel, #enorway on Rizon.

Ministry of Fang Fishing

I noticed that we don't have a logo for the Ministry of Fang Fishing, perhaps someone would be interested to take the time to create one? In my last article I wrote how Morten Asphaug is willing to help our newbies by giving out food, don't be afraid to send him a PM requesting some, he is more than happy to help you out! He would like see some new faces that he can share food with! To everyone else shout it in the newsfeed, our newbies need to know about this!

Other stuff happening

I'm also wanting to take on the ambitious project of refreshing the outdated information on Norway's immigration page which has not seen a change since almost a year ago, but that will take some time as I will need access. Our MoD have also been busy proposing some new idea's to me, of which they will release an article about shortly.
