Mood Music: It’s been a good run, eAmerica


Things don’t always go according to plan. While some great progress has been made this month on the domestic front, we aren’t at the place where we had all hoped going into this term. Life happens, people lose Internet access, people get busy. I’ll be honest and tell you that while I’m happy that we’ve accomplished some of our goals, we by no means have achieved them all. As President, that’s on me.

Despite the issues we’ve endured, let’s looks at the good as we come to the twilight of my Presidency. Economic bonuses have remained high, among the best in the eWorld. When we retake Baja this week, we’ll be back to 100/100/80. We’ve improved relations with a variety of countries. We’ve been available to assist our allies where they’ve needed us, and assisted we have! We’ve had some outstanding cooperation and military success in our own battles as well, winning multiple RWs simultaneously in our colonies on several occasions.


In the interest of clarity in terms of our battle plans for regaining Baja this week, the first step will be an Air Strike on the region by the nation of eNetherlands. It will be imperative that we fight FOR the eNetherlands in that battle. This will require moving to eNetherlands, which can be supplemented by your military unit in some cases, or by the Combat Orders that will likely be available in the battle, sponsored by the eUS Government. The important part is to not fight against the Air Strike. The next phase will be for the eUS to conquer the region from eNetherlands. This will not require moving and can be accomplished from eUS territory.

At home, our domestic programs have continued to operate efficiently and in a timely fashion. The DoD Strength Enhancement Program boosted its gold drop size to more than twice the original size. DoD operational costs have continued to fall in the last two months while maintaining damage output. The Education Department has been putting out information for new players as expected and the information has been accurate and helpful.


I’ve tried to remain connected to our eNation. I’ve tried to keep the People informed as we’ve worked toward the goals we set out toward on the 5th of August, and even on the 5th of July. The Daily Press Releases have been much more constant this month and hopefully you’ve been tracking things there when the State of the Union wasn’t as frequent.

As we move into the month ahead and beyond, it’s important that we remember the necessity of cooperation for our success. I can’t remember a time in recent history that our government and private military units have been more coordinated. It’s truly outstanding to see the results. This same cooperation is possible in all facets of eRepublik, and we should strive as a nation to work toward this end.


It has been an honor serving this great eNation as her President. I look forward to the future and what can be achieved as we continue to work together for the good of eAmerica.
