[POTUS] Cry Havoc!

I expected this moment to arrive much sooner. Tomorrow we will finally attack the Cuban Capitol in retribution for their opportunistic treachery on 9/11. The intention is to keep them wiped indefinitely. The arrival of Cuba on the map was not happily received by many here in the eUSA. It seemed obvious from the start that it would be used as a proxy state against us. In spite of this DMJ attempted to deal with our new neighbors with courtesy and magnanimity. I entered office with every intention of continuing the arrangement he set up. Within a day or so of being elected, Wild Owl and I were sent a message by the Cuban CP and MoFA. They asked to discuss the rental arrangement we had with them. They said the agreement was becoming an economic hardship.

We did not respond immediately as we had the aforementioned 9/11 attacks to deal with. Upon seeing the evidence I laid out in this article. I decided there was no further need for discussion with the government of Cuba. They have claimed we ignored them for nearly a week and then threatened to wipe them. In reality scarcely a day after asking to renegotiate our rental treaty they decided to seize an opportunity in what they saw as a moment of weakness for the eUSA. In payment for this perfidy we will be introducing Cuba to the economic hardship of no Congress, no regions, and no tax income.




Let’s move on to other things. I campaigned on revamping the Domestic institutions of this nation, and even introducing a few new ones. My goal was to increase participation and interactions with the citizens of the eUSA while also aggressively working to grow our ranks through an expanded and independent Save eRepublik Initiative. To be perfectly frank it’s been an abject failure thus far. Real Life, apathy, and burnout are very real in this game. Quite a few of my Cabinet members have been struggling with these factors. I myself have not been an exception to this for the past week or so I have been struggling with the after effects of a long ago lingering illness that left me with a weakened immune system and damaged organs. Those effects seem to be subsiding for now. I will be replacing several Secretaries in my cabinet over the next few days. I will have more information on that as I find and install replacements.

There is a little over a third of my term left. I will endeavor to use my remaining time as productively as possible. I am proud of the job that the State Department and NSC have done this month, but I believe that a thriving community to back up our diplomacy and supply firepower for our military might is an absolute must. My team and I will strive to turn in a performance to be proud of when all is said and done.





Yesterday the Republic of China (Taiwan) proposed an MPP with the eUSA. This is a big win for the State Department and Wild Owl who has carefully cultivated and nurtured our relationship with our new friends to the East. Be watchful for more exciting developments overseas in the coming weeks and months. It should prove very exciting.

As a parting thought. The Media department is running a contest and has been for several weeks. Write an article on why you play eRepublik and you will get prizes.
