[PoTUS] Chilean Pillar Humping

Pillar Humping
"In World of Warcraft, in arena matches, to use pillars or other terrain to obstruct line of sight, thus restricting ranged attacks. This often results in long games or a defensive stalemate. I hate fighting 2 v 2 against a pillar humping druid. Those games can last an hour." The Urban Dictionary Definition of Pillar Humping

As I have stated in some of my articles I used to play World of Warcraft. I was a PVE player for the most part because I honestly did not and do not have the temperament for PVP. Getting stun locked by a rogue, or DoTed up then feared by a warlock used to drive me absolutely insane. However the thing that drove me absolutely to the verge of insanity were the pillar humpers in the arena. I still feel a twinge of irritation just thinking about it. Especially with druids who could simply shapeshift out of any movement impairing effects, run around the pillar and throw heal over time (HoTs) instant cast spells on themselves, and be on their way.

I was a decent typist when I began playing WoW. After playing in the Arena matches my skill quickly improved to far above average. I learned to type /yell #@#$ you! You mother %^$#ing pillar humping sons of %^$^$! Faster than should be humanly possible as I was dying in a match I thought I had won. Eventually I learned to put my disdain in an easy to use one push of the button macro, but it was never as satisfying. Why am I telling you this? Because we have seen over this weekend the eRepublik equivalent from Chile when they RWed Lower Nomandy back to France.

This maneuver effectively delayed the USA from attacking Chile for several days. Our NE which took a full day was wasted. We then had to NE France taking another full day so we could take Lower Normandy regaining our border with Chile. First however the NSC had to labor diligently over the weekend to shoot down a Bolivian AS on French held Lower Normandy. Had this Airstrike landed it would have delayed us even more. Once Bolivia was out of the picture we attacked Lower Normandy and opened a RW in Paris to delay future attempts to cut the border again. This has not quite turned out the way I had hoped. My administration was poised to spend Millions of cc to wrest Lower Normandy from Chilean hands. We shall have to try again in Upper Normandy. Even so the epic showdown we were all hoping for appears to not be in the making. The Polish were pushed out of the conflict but it was done at a price. Slovenia has been little short of fantastic in their Successful attacks on Chile and thanks to the aforementioned delays have stood toe to toe with arguably the strongest, most dynamic nation in eRepublik and have acquitted themselves with honor.

Tomorrow (7/21/15) unless something unforeseen occurs we will have our battle with Chile. I recognize that it likely will not be the contest of strength that it would have been a few days ago. Funds only stretch so far, and EBs only last so long before they must be replenished. Yet we will still enjoy this confrontation with a world class foe. Do not think however, that EuroTrip Summer 2015 will end with Chile. I have kept my intentions quiet as I want to give Chile the full attention and respect they deserve. That said when Chile is removed from Europe the USA will be heading on to another destination. Our EuroTrip is not even close to finished. We have a few more destinations on the horizon.

When it was brought to my attention that Argentina had proposed an Airstrike into Mexico I asked myself if it was something about me. A few others commented along those lines. My previous term as CP in October Argentina did the same thing. Things were a bit different then. We were not in the same camp as Argentina and had no other conflicts going. As such my administration devoted more than 5.5 million cc to honor the Tequila Accords and defend our friends to the South. This time around we had an MPP with both nations, and our attention was firmly on removing Chile from Europe. The timing of the AS was not something my administration was pleased about and we made our displeasure known. Contrary to what some have said this was not coordinated as it robbed us of our Argentine MPP on the eve of battle with Chile. That is it would have been the eve of battle had they not cut and run. My administration will continue working to bring this situation to a peaceful end.

July 21, 2015 marks the halfway point of this Presidential Term. While things have not been perfect, I feel we are having a solid month, and my administration has no intentions of letting up now. There are so many that are working hard to make the eUSA a better place every day. The State Department and NSC/DoD (eShades, Garmr, RaccoonGoon, and HenryFrench) have worked nearly around the clock to keep things coordinated and flowing smoothly in all of these Euro campaigns. MrCarey my Chief of Staff has been nothing short of fantastic in keeping things organized and moving in a productive direction. Derphoof has hosted some very solid eNPR episodes along with Aramec. SColbert has some of the most entertaining and creative daily press releases. The Interior/Education Department (Aramec, Jefferson Locke, Jaden, Eddie A, WookyJack, Nick Bergman, and Tom Cauchon) is doing some serious work. They publish near daily. They are constantly brainstorming new ideas and/or ways to do things better. A good example is the recent team up of Flight Training with the American University. In short I am proud of the last 15 days and look forward to 15 more. Until next time America!

Update: Chile has opened yet another RW in Upper Normandy to cut the border with the USA. It looks like we'll have to play NE two step one more time. The objective is to remove Chile from Europe, but it's also to provide the citizens of the eUSA a quality opponent to fight.
