[MoD] UK Update - 24 hour Ceasefire
Irish Department of Defence
Hello everyone!
After the unhappy events of Yesterday when the United Kingdom reignited hostilities by reneging on their commitments we have a small update for you.
The previous ceasefire lines were crossed at 0106H and we waited over 12 hours until the end of Round 7 at 1350H to see what the United Kingdom would do.
We then engaged and reeled off 88 consecutive points to take the battle from a losing position of 21-56 to a winning total of 109-56
This leaves us once again at loggerheads with our nearest neighbours and as there seems to be a great degree of anarchy going on at the moment in that nation, Ireland has issued a unilateral ceasefire to it's troops for a period of 24 hours to enable the UK to sort itself out and present its position without having to fear further losses.
1. Fight for Romania, Bulgaria or Ukraine against the UK in such a manner then it may cost the UK regions it currently holds
2. Seek to start a RW in Scotland or any other region UK currently owns
3. Attempt to interfere in any RW attempt by the UK outside the region of Northern Ireland
The Irish Government further forswears launching an Airstrike proposal on the UK during the period of this ceasefire.
Comments
Let's hope they use this time wisely.
Éire Abú!
......Doesn't mention not launching coups though?!
Come out you Black and Tans...
Historically that results in bans!
*temp bans that is
It's a brilliant Irish drinking song from the revolution!
Come out ye black and tans, come out and fight me like a man
Show your wife how you won medals down in Flanders
Tell her how the IRA made you run like hell away
From the green and lovely lanes of Killashandra
But given only one of you is actually Irish I'll forive the ignorance
"Drinking song", is it now? Get back in your box you twit.
****ers were polite enough to raise a pint rather than a gun when they sang it irl o7
Forgive the coarseness. It's just discourteous to refer to a song that signing, owning a recording, or raising whatever was in your hand to, would be sufficient to get you arrested during the Troubles as a "drinking song". It's a rebel song about a bleak moment in our shared history. Perhaps a bit pedantic but still an important distinction. o/
Ceasefire my arse.
"1. Fight for Romania, Bulgaria or Ukraine against the UK in such a manner then it may cost the UK regions it currently holds""
But fighting for SA is fine, right? If this is what passes for a ceasefire in eIreland, then no wonder you were eagerly looking for the first excuse to break the treaty.
Allies and Partners > then a nation who signs an agreement and then spits in your face.
We won't mess with your existing TW's and holiday locations or anything economic but we're not just dismissing your failure to keep your word with a shrug and a "Lol typical Junior".
So your view of a ceasefire is that it doesn't apply if you use your mate's flag? Get off your high horse, you've been abusing the treaty for ages and are now scrabbling for the moral high ground so you can get away with breaking it instead of just bending it.
The Nation of Ireland Unilaterally halted operations for 24 hours.
We never submitted a claim to be able to control other nations nor have the ability to stop players fighting for the friends and/or against their enemies.
Also this applies and places implications on Irish fighters only, UKers have no obligations (As they'd break them anyway) to do anything.
