The Presidential elections are over which means it is time for the people of eJapan to choose another Empress. With new forums and new activity following its creation, all nominations will only be accepted in the forums. But don't worry, like I said the forums are active including those that approve citizens masks, so from now on, all nominations will be back in the forums. Also, don't forget to visit the past Empresses of eJapan in the forums, the "missing" Empresses have been added to the placard collection. As usual, rules and links to threads you need to visit are down below, and don't forget, there will be prizes for those that nominate the winning Empress and runner up, the Royal Ambassador. Oh and one last thing, runner ups or Royal Ambassadors can be re-nominated for Empress and even maintain their seat as Royal Ambassador if runner up again.

Future Plans, Events, and Ideas!

Before we get into the rules of Empress Day and start the festivities, I want to make a short announcement of sorts on the current considered plans along with a plea for ideas from the community at large. While Empress Day and other traditions and established holidays will stay, I am considering introducing (and you can discuss this in the topic on the forums I'll put up alongside the Empress day thread) real-life Japanese holidays into our calendar so we can fully enrich our culture and allow the MoCH to contribute more and provide more for the citizens of eJapan. Beyond that, I'm going to consider bringing back up the discussion of an 'eJapanese Golden Week' along with ask for you (the community) to give ideas and input on what you think the MoCH could do to become better, what events it could add and provide for, among other things. RULES:

1 - All nominees must be an female character.

2 - All nominees must be from Japanese anime series (OVA, movies, ONA, tv series), Japanese video games, and Japanese Manga, PLEASE NO hentai or characters from sexually explicit controversial anime series. Ministry staff have the right to determine what is inappropriate.

3 - All nominations must at least include a name, image, and name-of-series the nominated character appeared in (again please no nudity or hentai), additional information is welcome.

4 - All nominations must be posted in the nomination thread in the national forums, a link is posted at the bottom of the article under "Places You Need to Be".

5 - No previous elected Empresses can be nominated for a 2nd term. However, Royal Ambassadors can be re-nominated for a chance to be Empress, and if runner up again, can maintain their seat as Royal Ambassador for another term.

6 - Empress Day Nominations begin on the release of THIS article and will end at 00:00 eTime on eDay 1,664.

7 - Empress Day Voting will begin on the eDay 1,665 and will end at 00:00 eTime on eDay 1,668.

8 - Campaigns for specific nominations are allowed, but the MoCH will take no part in the campaigns, however the MoCH will post each nomination in the opening voting article, BUT will only put in the information posted by the person that nominated the anime character, MoCH will not add any new information.

9 - The person who nominates the winning Empress will receive a JPY or weapon prize, 1 nomination per person. Only citizens of eRepublik can make a nomination, NO organizations or anything else that is not a citizen of eRepublik. There will be a runner up that will receive a small prize of JPY or weapons.

10 - The Minister of Culture and History reserve the right to change these rules at any time, they also reserve the right to disqualify nominations if rules are broken or any new questionable situations that may arise.
