La corruzione, si sa, è il tarlo della democrazia. Ciò vale per la RL e, come ho potuto constatare personalmente, vale parimenti anche qui su eRepublik.

La mia storia inizia 4 giorni fa (25/5 - Day 1647) quando, stanco ormai dell'inconsistenza economica italiana, decido di emigrare e richiedere la cittadinanza degli Stati Uniti, un paese egemone a livello economico-militare e per di più alleato: la scelta perfetta! Non sapendo che vi fosse un questionario da compilare, mi sposto direttamente in Aquitania e richiedo la cittadinanza. La mia pratica dovrebbe essere evasa il giorno 28/5.

Mentre aspettavo una risposta, il 27/5 ricevo questo messaggio:

Pearl1337 è un congressman statunitense come si può facilmente verificare dal suo profilo. Il suo messaggio mi lascia stupito: un pubblico ufficiale che lascia intendere che ci possano essere vie "secondarie" per ottenere la cittadinanza mi ricorda tanti tristemente noti comportamenti di alcuni politici.

In ogni caso, approfondisco la questione e scopro sul canale IRC #IES che per ottenere la cittadinanza bisogna compilare dei moduli e che in nessun caso sono tollerati tentativi di compravendita ("Any attempts to buy CS and you WILL NOT be approved").

Il passo successivo allora è quello di fingersi interessato per poter denunciare pubblicamente questo tentativo di corruzione e infatti:


Cari fratelli americani, spero in definitiva di aver reso con questo mio articolo e con questa mia denuncia un servizio alla vostra gloriosa nazione che non merita simili individui nel suo congresso, tempio della democrazia.
P.S. ricordate però che c'è una nuova richiesta di cittadinanza in sospeso! Questa volta però ho compilato il form 😉

Pearl1337 is a U.S. congressman as you can easily see from his profile. His message surprised me: a public official that suggests that there may be "secondary" ways to obtain citizenship reminds me of many notorious behavior of some politicians.

In any case, I decided to explore this issue and in the IRC channel # IES I find that for citizenship it is asked to fill out the forms and that under no circumstances are tolerated attempts to purchase ("Any Attempts to buy CS and you WILL NOT be approved").

The next step is to pose as interested and then publicly denounce this attempt of corruption and in fact:
