Join the new world

I really need to start writing my articles in notepad or something instead of straight into eRepublik, because my articles are so long that I get a CRSF attack almost every time. I hate this because I wrote an Epic article with plenty of pictures and humor, at the same time as getting my point across. So this will probably be boring now, but heck I will try to rewrite it anyways.

I have returned to TURP and to kick off my return, I a running for Party President of TURP (Persistent, I know), I have 3 major goals this month if I'm elected. However, I'd like to say that I'm a changed man since you last saw me.


Anyways, lets move onto the 3 major goals:

1. Get to rank 6, this month
Yeah, this will be tough, but if anyone knows what hard work is, it's TURP. We've been working our butts off trying to achieve our goal and dream as a party to get into the Top 5. I will assemble a perfect team to help me make this goal, this dream, a reality.

2. Increasing Activity
During my term as Party President, I will create many activities and programs such as scavenger hunts, food and weapon giveaways, IRC incentives, money loans, supply loans, word scrambles, trivia questions that have somewhat of a relation to eRepublik, and more to not only attract more members and new players, but to hold onto them.

3. Leadership
One thing, I've noticed about TURP, ever since and even during the Golden Age (Mercurius100 Era) of TURP, known as American Progressive Party at the time, has always been ruled by a select few. Even though we are the most experienced in the party, most involved, and only intend to make the party better, we have always been lead by the same people, a select few. First, Mercurius100 was PP for a while and was doing a great job, but left for another party WTP or USWP, I think.

Then he handed the party down to Fhaemita Malodorus, without even seeing what the people thought. Before he took over, I never even heard of him. Although they both were great PP, I wish we were taken into consideration and were at least given a choice.

Fhaemita's streak was then ended when 2 young, inexperienced, but determined individuals rose up to Fhaemita and challenged his position. They lost, for they had no idea what they were doing. Eventually, they decided to team up against him, hoping they'd be able to "overthrow" him. They made several campaign articles and on the 15th of July, they defeated Fhaemita. Their teamwork created an everlasting friendship between them, they then molded APP into their image of a perfect party, and they rose to 80+ members. That was Alexandrer Coin and I, Thomas Killah. Alex has been the one in the seat so far, but like every other previous PP who lead us for more than 2 terms, we began to plummet and crumble. I would now like the chance to restart and rebuild the party under a new vision, a vision that will make us rise through the ranks beyond where we've ever been. I want to boldy go, where TURP hasn't gone before. I will reboot programs such as TURP Academy, and start new ones such as an Internship Program. We will even create our own "TURP Congress", where any members who AREN'T in the Cabinet or is the PP can be elected to vote on things such as a name change, logo change, motto change, creation of a new program, liquidation of a new program, and more. This will bring out the unseen members of TURP, who've been invisible among us. Bringing out the potentials of our members, and preparing our members for the long road ahead. Only then, will we ever see the true potential of TURP.
