[Irish Army] Boot Camp - Introducing our new Boot Camp Officer

Day 2,642, 10:42 Published in Ireland Ireland by Mr. Tayto

February 13, 2015

Soldiers of the Irish Army,

Hello.

I am Anthony Colby, AC to my friends. I am also the new Boot Camp Officer for the Irish Army. That means that you new recruits will get a message from me, if you haven’t already, welcoming you to the IA and starting to get you kitted out with your new uniform. If you have been here for a bit, you already should have gotten squared away with all that. I also will send you a friend request. Please accept it. You won’t see my shouts if you don’t.

Back in the day

A little about me for those of you who don’t know me. I have been around here for a long time. Four plus years in fact. I have been playing eRep even longer. I have been part of the Irish Army in one form or another since the Irish Defense Forces days way back in V1. I have commanded divisions and units and even held the position of MoD twice. But that is ancient history. Today is what matters.

There is no stupid question

So you probably have some questions. If you don’t then you aren’t thinking about what you are doing. You may not want to ask in the IA thread being afraid of asking a stupid question or getting the infamous “noob” label for not knowing something that everyone else didn’t know either when they started but now take for granted. Well I am here to try to help you answer these questions and more importantly help you gain strength and fight to your utmost ability for yourself and for eIreland.

You can PM me any time with any question you have. I will answer to the best of my ability. If I don’t know the answer I will do my best to find out the answer for you.

Eradicating Hunger

I also have food to give out to soldiers. If you are in need of food you can either PM me or check the IA feed and comment that you need food. It is that simple. The amount you get may depend on how much I have but I will try to give as much as I can.

In closing...

Future articles will have links to guides for fighting and other things you need to know. I will try to get the best info I can to help you. If anyone knows of some good guides they can always PM me with links and we can incorporate them in future articles.

Remember train, train, train. Check out the Training Ground Upgrades article by the MoF.

Build up your strength for important battles.

Off for now. Always in the fight!

PS - If anyone would like to donate food to the IA Food drive, please send what you can to me.
