[GPN] Reintroducing Geuzen Partij Nederland
Mata
English:
Dear fellow citizens,
Geuzen Partij Nederland(GPN) has stepped out of the shadows with the goal to be active again and look to the future of eNetherlands.
There are possibly people who wonder who we are and what we currently stand for.
To make the first step of making sure people know Geuzen Partij Nederland, it is time re-introduce our party.
Geuzen Partij Nederland has been founded at day 1285, since then GPN has been through a lot.
Like we used to believe and after all this time since the founding of our party, we still believe, we support the 'common' player.
we do not care about power, we just want a healthy community, with also notice of the smaller people and the freedom to say anything you believe.
We as party are neither rebels or elitists, we choose to be neutral as party.
Though individual activities are always allowed, everyone should have the right to voice their opinion, we won't deny anyone to do so.
Everyone is equal in our party, whether you are a old citizen or a freshly started guy/girl, it doesn't matter, the only importance is loyalty.
Since there has happened a lot with GPN in the past and has created some tainted opinions against us, we do want to note something that is far more important.
While we won't be able to deny there has happened things in the past, we do not see it as something that should affect us at this moment.
We want to look to here and now and to the future, looking back at the past is not always needed.
Everything bad can be turned into something good,
we want to show that GPN is still something good!
As for any more detailed information on stances against certain subjects it is best to wait when it is needed to discussed.
No-one will be able to say anything with utmost certainty what certain opinions are, until the time has come for it to happen.
You may always contact our current Party President Steve_God or our members, if you want to know anything more about our party.
This is our short re-introduction for now.
Dutch:
Beste Landgenoten,

I don't think bringing up the name of your founder is a good idea. JvdG as far as I seem to recall only cared about his own power. So I personally only started to believe GPN was a serious party when he was replaced by Mr. Sphere.
Mr. Spheres PP program maybe sheds some light on what JvdG was like: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/take-part-in-democracy-with-capital-quot-d-quot--1837703/1/20
I think you'll realise that the GPN you're talking about started with Mr. Sphere. He definitely is worth remembering way more than JvdG.
I thought I was worth remembering way more then the pair of them but to each his own. xD
who are you again? 😛
jacob is gpn, it has always had that kind of restricted in a mental hospital feel about it 😛
His name is not called for reminding everyone of him, neither will I call any other GPN past leader or member.
As people always like the ability of searching facts, naming him is only so people have less work searching.
Though I do have to say, I could have linked the wiki page rather then his citizen account, but I was planning to sleep when I finished writing, so I added links in some rush, it will be fixed asap!
Well if you need some help remembering some old GPN stuff, I am your guy, would be happy to help you Mata. You probably don't know me but Im a former 4x consecutive PP of GPN and was CP representing GPN back in the vS era.
Well, if you want to tell me anything, PM me here on eRepublik how I could contact you in any way.
I am interested in the things you want to tell, I do not know if I will do something with it, but if you want to enlighten me about anything, I am always available to listen and talk! 🙂
Well, you're still active, so that already makes you different. And I was talking specifically about the really early days of GPN, when you were not yet in the picture. 😉
I do know that, yet I do not name him for remembrance, rather to show since when GPN exists.
To repeat myself we are looking ahead instead of looking back, so naming him was only to make people able to confirm information, no it is good or bad, as otherwise we can go on forever about the good and bad what has happened.
Let the past be the past, the future is important!
So people won't misunderstand, the name has been editted out.
The sentence after you mentioned JvdG was what triggered my response. It sounds like JvdG also had those ideals, while I think they really started with Mr. Sphere.
But I agree, we all should work for a better future. Most parties who've had power also have had some members they'd rather forget. And also some members who unfortunately quit the game. But we, the ones who are left, decide our own future.
In building that future it is however important to remember mistakes from the past, so that we can avoid those pitfalls. And remembering the people who really did a good job is important too. We can learn from their actions. Mr. Sphere showed that it is important to rise up to your PP if he is abandoning the party's core principles.
Agreed djirtsdew.
The past we have learned by, however you can't keeping living in the past.
Learn of, remember and respect the past, yet look forward.
But if I would name people, there will always be someone who doesn't like him or her, so I choose to name no-one, whether he or she has done good or done bad, endless discussions about anything aren't important, they happen enough already.
I remember Mr. Sphere, unfortunately i do not do so in a positive light.
I do wish GNP of now good luck in their endeavors and hope you guys will be a voice for what is right.
Thank you Fosite for your kind words. 🙂
And also you voice the reason what I try to say to everyone else, no opinion of anyone will be the same. 🙂
Well i got the point, and yea as much as djirtsdew knows Mr. Sphere good side, i only meet the guy in (short but heavy) conflict.
@Fosite: we also both know both MdR's good and bad side.
It seems that nobody who has achieved something worth remembering is uncontroversial. Probably that's a lesson to remember.
Oh that certainly is true, im pretty sure plenty of people will have enough to say about me, and im pretty sure alot of it isn't going to be positive 😉 And i didn't even achieve anything memorable far as i know.. or it slipt my mind if i did 😛
Good luck, you will need it.
I do not understand why Steve God did not step aside for Mata,
I think that is something that is unclear to everyone at this moment.
Clearly he got the majority of the votes, which can be interpreted as that the party prefered him over Mata, even considering activity etc.
So the real question is: why did Steve get so many votes compared to Mata?
Mattio has some nice quotes regarding PPs on his wiki page. I think the second one is quite applicable here:
"You won’t be a good Party president without listening to your party and you won’t be a good Party president by doing nothing more than listening to your party."
So a part of being a good PP is activity. Something that Mata keeps demonstrating. Of course, writing articles on behalf of their party is something that also ordinary party members can do.
Contacting other parties regarding support for your party's CP candidate on the other hand is something I'd either expect that candidate or the PP to do.
In any case, keep going Mata, even if your party seems to prefer Steve for the moment.
I think steve doesnt realize anything yet or either someone had a hand in it.
mata is a new entity in GPN, perhaps they do not yet trust her as PP? or perhaps they really do prefer steve for the position.
there are many possibility's.
I will make a statement late, but I support Steve as PP, more about it when I have time to really write about it.
Good luck with rebuilding the party 🙂
Thanks 🙂
