Join the new world

That's right we are back and i am here to dish out the details.



So we had a meeting tonight and decided to go back to our roots and return to the glory days of GBDP. As Novarefuge so nobly "We moved around with the name for a while, but I think that GBDP is what shows our party the best." We then set about digging up old logos, banners and other GBDP associated items. Noavre put together a nice little description to get us started...
"The Great British Democratic Party stands with its allies, we here seek to provide an equal environment for all to play in, we seek to further the UK economically, socially and militarily. We seek to do this without ruining our relationship with our allies, as friends are important to us."



Usually at this point we would spend several hours thrashing together a list of polices, however we have decided to instead be a "Free Policy Party", which basically means we have no standing policies and instead run on what we decide at the time. this means that we accept all political orientations, from the capitalist to the communist, from the libertarian to the authoritarian. We will simply push policies that the majority of the party vote for and then drop the policy after a given period.



In terms of party position roles we came to this nice little list:
Party President- To manage the party in all aspects and delegate tasks to members
Vice-Party President- To help and advise the Party President
Spokesman- the public figure of the party, they deal with the articles and such
Councillor- the player support officer, their job is to help players in and out of the party and work with the MoHA when appropriate
Secretary General- the party ambassador, they deal with discussions with other parties
