Fed PP Term: Starting on a high note!!!

Greetings Feds o/,

We’re about 5 days into fingerguns PP term, and we’re already seeing stellar results from the leadership team that fingerguns choose to help her lead the Feds.

Clint Carmel, a very promising newb working in both Education and Media, has made some very great posts on the forums regarding newb education. If you’re interested, you can find some of his work here and here.

Crashthompson, first time Recruitment director, is doing stellar in his recruitment efforts with the help of his amazing staff. He has decided to message a massive number of new players, and the results are certainly noticeable as Fed. numbers continue to rise and we hold a health lead above the AFA. You can find some of his work here.

Paul Proteus, while not new to the Feds, has been doing awesome work in the Political Dept. this month. While currently not in the Feds in-game (holding ATO control of the Shoe People), Proteus continues to help, such as by choosing the Congressional list with the assistance of fingerguns, and making sure that everyone applied.

Obviously, there are many more players who are doing astounding work. FOP is getting messages out, and Retention is working great! As Media Director, I can tell you that the Media Dept. is certainly buzzing!

Overall, this term is starting on a high note. We shall see how it proceeds and I look forward to seeing fingerguns and her cabinet do awesome work.

Interview with fingerguns!

One Sky: What are your plans for this month?

fingerguns: I think parties, in general, should focus on two primary areas- educating brand new players and creating opportunities for older, more established players. That's what we're working on this month. I know it sounds really simple, and it is, but those are the fundamentals that make a party great.

One Sky: What aspect(s) do you think the Feds should improve/work on?

fingerguns: The Feds are pretty top notch across the board, as an organization. Where we sometimes let things slip is including more people in staff positions. We attract a lot of hard working, ambitious people who end up taking on a lot of responsibility. That's a wonderful thing, but we have to restrain ourselves a bit so we can be more inclusive and rely on teamwork. Just because you CAN do it alone, doesn't mean you should.

One Sky: What are your view on the development of this party?

fingerguns: The party is developing really well. We continue to grow and attract players, both new and old. Our activity is increasing and more people are getting plugged into the game. This is an exciting time for the Feds. While we are really large and established, we haven't lost any of that hunger of a smaller party. We always strive to be better and serve more. As long as we stay focused on what we do, rather than just who we are, we'll keep rocking it.



Newb Education

Hello and welcome! If you're reading this, you're probably a member of the Federalist Party. If not, you're certainly welcome to come join us. Whether you’re a new player or oldfag, the Federalist Party is the right fit for you. Because the Federalist party isn't like the AFA, just here to use you. Rather, the Federalist Party wants to make you the best player of eRepublik that you can be. It does this using a two-pronged approach masted by the Fed. Educators.

First of all, simply being in (or around) the Federalist Party gives you the opportunity to rub shoulders with amazing people like Fingerguns, Duncan Crowe, Buicy, Jefferson Locke and Greene12.

Secondly, the Federalist Party puts an emphasis on making sure you are as educated as you can be. Fed. PP Fingerguns has decided that one of the focuses of her term of duty this month is to put an emphasis on Education.

Here are some details:

* The three training modules currently posted on the Fed forums will be looked at to make sure they are as up-to-date as possible.

* A fourth one is in the works covering media, messaging, and the meta-game. Clint Carmel has a prototype page here that he will be migrating to the Fed forums: http://www.squidoo.com/starting-erepublik

* The history of the Federalist Party (and various events of importance) is going to be recorded for posterity.

There are other projects that Fingerguns and her staff have in the works will help all players, both old and new. No matter how much you think you know about this game, there are always changes taking place. Whether you want to be a better soldier, a more in-the-loop politician or a reporter with a larger subscriber base, Fingerguns will certainly help you as PP!
