I have been asked to serve as Secretary of Homeland Security 6 times now by 5 different Presidents. The degree of difficulty in this job has fallen dramatically over those months of stewardship. My first month in the job was the month after we first successfully blocked the Ajay Bruno led AFA from Congress. It was the culmination of more than a year of work. A long war of attrition had finally succeeded. My job was to not screw up and lose what we had won the month before.

That first month things were pretty intense. A lot of time was put into preparing for the 15th a day that used to be action packed for those who labored in ATO. Parties were carefully watched and a gdoc was meticulously updated in order to direct patriotic voters to where they were needed most. That first PP election cycle I was up until reset to ensure that there would be no last minute surges. Other than an amusing conversation with Ajay on IRC there was no 11th hour drama. The next month the election was decided by 5 PM central standard time.





The WHPR made reference to the Free Area PTO of the AMP in its latest edition. This WTF moment at least to me represents the turning point. Months of Unity elections and coordination had reduced the PTO footprint to about a third of the voting bloc. For those who are new to this game consider that for a moment. Though diminished a traitor led Serbian PTO in our midst commanded a third of our voting bloc. They sent Serbs to Congress who used their CS passes to import more enemy combatants. They also spammed rogue law proposals that went from annoying - cut taxes to 1%, to bothersome - transfer the CBO to individuals in Serbia posing as eUSA orgs, to damaging - rogue Natural Enemy proposals that disrupted timing in at crucial junctures. It was a turning point in that it represented the moment when the community had reached their threshold of patience. It was decided that instead of playing defense and deflecting attacks on other Parties on the 15th of every month that we would go all in on taking the AFA from Ajay.




The attacks were a rousing success. The AMP was reclaimed and the AFA was taken by our ATO candidate Stewy. For a few months the insurgents managed to claw back up into the top 5 using one of the numerous smaller abandoned Parties that lay virtually forgotten and mouldering in our nation. The climb began to take longer and longer as each time a successful takeover forced a move multis and the disheartened would get left behind. The takeover process continued for a year. Long after it was obvious that the AFA would not be able to reclaim a top 5 spot even if left alone. Finally the Serbs of AFA ejected Ajay from their midst and began to ask for negotiations. It took a few months, but an arrangement of sorts was reached. Do not threaten the top 5 in any way, do not participate in the PTO of any other Party, do not associate with Ajay, and do not multi. In exchange the remnants of the AFA would be allowed to exist unmolested. They have abided by that agreement.





Let’s recap for a moment. The insurgent PTO is broken, Ajay is an outcast pretty much shunned by all, and we have enjoyed open and free elections for more than a year now. Strict IES protocols and other Congressional statutes (if they are followed) combined with current game mechanics pretty much guarantee that we will not see a resurgent PTO in our midst. We have come a long way. So what now?

I will not be asking legions of voters to secure other Parties from outside attack. No allies have asked for ATO voters this month. We will not be going on the offensive against the AFA or any other Party this month. I will be spending the evening of the 14th watching Ajay as he thinks he is clever, and likes to Party hop at the last moment in an effort to seize a Party Presidency of one of the aforementioned abandoned Parties. The design of course is to pollute the CP ballot with his presence. All that will be asked of you this month is to vote for the official Candidate of your Party.
