Just two more days left of this term. What a ride it's been. I can 100% say I've had more fun in this term as CP than I did in my two previous terms for eIreland. Thank you for allowing me to serve.
Current State of Affairs:
We still have an MPP with eEstonia and we're currently signing one with eCuba.
A region swap with eNetherlands is in the works out of necessity due to determination so we're going to be conducting an Airstrike very soon which is on the table for vote right now in Congress.
There's over 3 million cc in the countries open coffers. Thanks Plato!
I wouldn't be anywhere without my cabinet. They've done great things and have advised me with grace and dexterity. A huge thank you to all.
Lastly...
I would be remiss if I didn't also mention that we staved off a PTO attempt by the MDP party. Their party president has openly stated he will allow foreign entities into our realm and we just can't have that. With a well coordinated plan we were able to thwart this blatant attempt on our sovereign eNation.
Thank you to all that helped block this vicious attack. In just few short weeks a 14 time CP has erased anything they possibly could have done for this eCountry. At least in my opinion. In both words and actions both in-game and on other platforms.
These reprehensible actions have not gone unnoticed to many involved. We will continue to monitor this situation closely.
Now that I've said all of this. What's next? Well, elections are right around the corner and unless something drastic happens it looks as though all of you will be stuck with me for another term and I'll get the shiny medal this time around.
I can't express enough how honored and proud I am to help do great things in this little eCountry of ours.

MDP is not and will never endorse any PTO to our great country. Stop your gaslighting. Also, it was your administration that gerrymandered MDP out of congress and said that you don't need the help of the Congress to run the country.
It was also your administration that used the most beloved and special ecanadian program as a political tool, while its biggest strength was exactly that it was available to all ecanadians, regardless of their political affiliation. eCanada is special politically in the sense that every decisions are made by consensus through debates and that people respect one another very dearly. We don't like dispute, but you are not like that. You cannot resist the urge of going full ham against Rylde (or anyone really who have a different opinion than you). That is why you pissed of so many people over the course of a single month, people that are very much loyal to eCanada.
You say that you had so much fun doing all that, but those that have to live (or play after all it is but an online game) the full repercussions of your decisions are not so pleased.
Sorry to rain on your parade. I should have put all of that through Congress instead, but we got that privilege removed from us.
Je suis désolé Karl. Je ne suis pas d'accord avec toi. Si tu veux t'amuser avec ton nouveau chum. Vas-y mais c'est un mensonge de dire que la menace du PTO est une invention. Ton chum a écrit publiquement à ce sujet et beaucoup d'entre nous ont également reçu des messages.
Bien sûr que nous allons s'en servir du HAP pour se battre. Es-tu d'accord de financer des personnes qui veulent activement détruire les revenus pour lesquels t'as travaillé si dur ?
Rylde est la victime? Stp ne me fais pas rire. Moi, j'ai été harcelé par les actions de Ryle pendant de nombreuses années. Je lui ai donné une autre chance. J'ai déjà perdu le compte de combien chances. Il ne peux pas endurer quelques jours? Pauvre lui. Stp, vas pleurer ailleurs.
Rylde n'est pas le MDP. Le MDP est la somme de tous ses membres. Rylde et Vexing sont les deux responsables de la débandade du dernier mois. La différence est que Vexing était PM et représentait tout eCanada, alors que Rylde n'avait pas la même contrainte. On aurait été en droit de s'attendre à une tentative de désescalade de la part de Vexing afin de passer le bien de la nation avant sa propre vendetta, mais c'est arrivé en premier du côté de Rylde.
Je suis 'chum' avec tous les Canadiens. Il en va de toute évidence de toi et de Vexing, mais aussi de Rylde, Majial, Foxfire et tous les membres du MDP. Je refuse de voir cela comme un problème.
Rylde a souvent des propos qui n'ont pas d'allure, oui. Mais Rylde représente 9% du MDP. Le reste des membres ne partagent soit pas du tout la vision présumée de Rylde, soit ont des objections envers comment les choses fonctionnent, mais ne sont pas pris au sérieux dans la coalition de partis. Dire que je pleuniche en ce moment pourrait être vu comme le démontrer. Un système qui s'attaquent à ses éléments modérés est un système qui risque le déclin. Je dresse depuis deux ans maintenant à-travers Meme Friday le portrait de notre microcosme au sein d'eRepublik. J'ai vu comme toi l'évolution de notre communauté, mais je pousse l'audace en disant que j'ai eu le privilège de pouvoir le consigner en détail. Je n'ai pas d'aspiration politique et je suis probablement le Legend of Canada avec le moins de force de frappe. Je considère que mon rôle au sein de notre communauté et ma motivation derrière Meme Friday est de faire de l'humour et de la satire, parfois négative d'un jeu et d'une communauté que j'adore pour éviter que ce système ne se fourvoie.
Tout ce que nous voulons, c'est de prendre part au débat. Le système n'est pas parfait et ça va prendre tout nos 200 citoyens pour le rendre meilleur.

Alors, vous, les membres du MDP, ne partagez pas sa vision mais vous lui permettez de faire c'est qu'il veut. Aucune critique? C'est bien ça.
Regarde toutes ces réponses à ton message. T'es un membre tellement aimé de notre communauté que nous nous inquiétons pour toi et nous prenons le temps de remettre en question tes décisions. Ce sera toujours ton choix, mais stp, ne fais pas l'erreur que j'ai fait il y a de nombreuses années en aidant quelqu'un qui ne mérite pas ton attention. Il existe de nombreuses meilleures façons d'exprimer tes idée ou ton mécontentement.
Please, let's not forget the RW that MDP tried to start in Scotland. Rylde's ban from HAP was a result of his relentless pursuit of SH medals in direct defiance to the rules that Congress agreed to. Namely, don't snipe medals - especially in inconsequential TW battles. That wasn't political.
Next, MDP participated in an attempt to start a RW in Scotland despite warnings in the April Congress thread, which you and many other MDP members were on. Scotland brings in a significant amount of money that is used to support programs like HAP. Not once did anyone in the April congress thread speak up in favor of supporting a RW in Scotland. Despite the warnings and open discussion to the contrary, several members of MDP chose to support the RW. Was that not "political"? Of course it was, MDP leadership wanted to "stick it to the elites" or whatever. Even still, Kippers, Mann, and I tried to offer an olive branch believing that people may have been coerced without realizing the impacts. That's why you were offered an opportunity to support country over party. It was not political. The bans were a direct result of the actions to support the RW in eScotland. Period. The offers were, in my mind, and effort to show a little give and take to people who may have pressed the button for the lulz without realizing the impact it could have on eCanada.
In hindsight, maybe that was the wrong idea, but, MDP showed no signs of distancing itself from he who shall not be named, and he showed no signs of trying to play a friendly game with a community that we've all worked hard to maintain. MDP PP vowed to destroy eCanada and has posted messages detailing his ideas to allow him to regain power by any means necessary. And yet you accuse Vex and others of being political?!? Medice, cura te ipsum.
And, remember, that gerrymandering, as you call it, was not done by 1 or 2 people. eCanada spoke. People left their parties to bolster CF and other parties that were at risk. This was not a couple people trying to screw over MDP, this was eCanada saying that they don't trust the MDP leader. And yet, who steps up to challenge Rylde in MDP? If he is the future of the party, so be it, but then don't get your panties in a wad when the people of eCanada work to limit MDP's influence.
Karl, let me conclude by saying that I respect you and your efforts over the past few years to add to our community. Also, I am not speaking on behalf of anyone except myself and I am choosing to not reference any content or conversations that have happened outside of public or April congress threads, on which you were included. I can only speak for myself, but, I have no ill will against MDP. I do have ill will against Rylde. He has a history of racist and sexist remarks and general harassment. A few years ago, he stooped to bringing in a player's recently deceased mother into his rants. I don't care what your reasons are, you don't call a lady a whore, you don't diss people's race or heritage, and you don't bring a person's deceased parents into the game in an effort to try to score a few punches. That's straight up dickery. I won't abide by that and I hope you won't either. We're just here to play a game - not make enemies.

The issue is not the ban itself. The temp ban was deserved and follows the HAP ruling. Case in point. However, the offer to reduce the time of the ban by leaving MDP and swearing to never going back was definitely the wrong Idea and I'm glad nobody that was involved in it bulged.
Your regrets that you have now in hindsight should have been there when I pushed my case in appeal. By refusing to change your position back then, you made HAP Political. It is not too late to correct that.
Well put Simulare. It's sad that unfortunately Karl refuses to see that associating himself with Rylde is a problem to begin with. I'm sorry. I tried just like Mann, Kippers and yourself tried in the past. Seems like we are the only ones that should regret our actions.
