[CP] Days 4970-4977

Day 4,977, 03:38 Published in Ireland Ireland by Fenoglioteam

Greetings Ireland,

Only a few hours left to the end of my mandate, so here's my last weekly recap. I hope you enjoy it.

Ministry of Defense and Training Wars

Is this another example of my famous copy&paste battle orders? It isn´t! As you may have noticed, we did a couple of changes this week. In the first place, the tw with France has been closed due to summer readjustments. So that our farming possibilities are not affected, this tw will be replaced by another one in Canada - I would like to thank Mann551 for the offer - which will follow the ping-pong structure between Alberta and Northwest Territories. I am convinced that it will be a beneficial war for all parties involved.

Therefore, this is what the combat orders would look like once we have landed in Alberta:

Finland : We Win Dublin and lose Louth

Republic of China: We win Mayo and lose Northern Ireland

Canada: We win Alberta and lose Northwest Territories

Argentina: We win Wexford and lose Cork

Turkey: We win Shannon and lose Newfoundland and Labrador.

So, we should always hold the regions we control in the following picture, plus Alberta in Canada.

Moreover, do you need extra help to rank in the air? Don't forget to sign up for the Irish air program, extraordinarily organized by Aimesan. Click here to sign up or check how much you have won the last weeks.

Foreign Affairs

Another quiet week when it comes to our neighbours, but this doesn't mean Ireland stops, so apart from our usual work and collaborating with allies, we are in process of renewal of the mpp with Brazil, a country that has been really helpful when we have needed extra damage controlling tws and provides the night damage that we lack.

Summing up this month, I think it has been a good month for Ireland when it comes to foreign affairs. The recent addition of Indonesia will bring a breath of fresh air to Pacifica and the collaboration with our friends, especially Turkey and the aforementioned Brazil, has been impeccable. What will happen to Great Britain? Time will tell, but we will be ready for whatever it happens.

Economy

This week has been more interesting than the previous one when it comes to finances. The most notable operations have been:

- 10,000 iep spent on the renewal of the mpp with Brazil.

- 83,333 iep and 196 500 Health Points invested in the Airstrike to Canada

- 62,300 iep entered into the Contry Treasure due to the Argentine tax revolution

Thus, we ended the month with an evidently positive balance, which, as explained in my candidacy article, will allow Ireland to give aid for the 5,000th day if it is deemed necessary.

This week in eR + Press

This week has been marked by the Summer Challenge and the offers that followed. Releasethe Krakken, the most active Irish journalist and winner of another “journalist of the week” reward, wrote an interesting analysis on the matter. Do not miss it!

Community corner

If there's one thing we all discovered from last week's "guess the film" contest it's that Releasethe Krakken is probably the biggest film expert in our community. Not only did he get three of the four movies right, but he pinpointed the precise moment the fragment belonged to. Impressive!

For this last week, I would appreciate literary recommendations. It does not matter the genre, time, author, etc. but please choose more exciting works than my weekly recaps 😃

Food for the Irish

Given the difficulties in producing food and the support to food programs by our Congress, here we are for the second week with some supplies.

Like the past time, every Irishman who comments, regardless of his level, will receive 5,000 units of energy, which are privately funded.

Closing words

That's all, both for today and for my term. It wasn't perfect but I think we did a good job, or at least, we always did what we thought was better for Ireland.. I´ve already thanked our friends and allies, so I would like to dedicate these last lines to all of you, the Irish community: those who write articles, spend your time sharing your opinions in the Däil Éireann and even those less active players who just enjoy logging in once a day and see what we are up to the most active players. Every time I see you around, fighting in our tws or anywhere else, I´m so glad to be part of this community.

I don't like giving names when it's time to say thank you because I always forget someone important, but today I'll make an exception: Armanych, AImesan and George Barker (I'm speaking about Ireland, but what's USA but an Irish province 😛), thank you for being there whenever I ask for damage by telegram. Biedny, I don't know what we would do in Ireland without you. And of course, all my love for Slua. When he's not drunk he's the best counselor you can have, and when he's drunk, well, probably too.

Moo, good luck next month. You are a great guy and I'm sure we are going to enjoy a great July with you.

I can't publish an article without some music. A month ago I finished my candidacy singing about a prophecy that was a promise to us all, but now that everything is done, there´s only silence.

If you have any question or suggestion, feel free to post it here, send me a message ingame or ping me on telegram

Have a nice day!
