Acuerdo de Alquiler entre Bolivia y Chile


Los gobiernos de Bolivia y Chile han acordado un contrato de alquiler sujeto a las siguientes cláusulas:

1) Bolivia alquila las regiones de Altiplano y Chuquisaca y Tarija a Chile.

2) Chile pagará un alquiler mensual de 10.000cc por la región Altiplano y de 15.000 cc por la región de Chuquisaca y Tarija. Los pagos se efectuarán hasta el tercer día después de comenzar el período de arrendamiento mensual. El canon de arriendo incluye los impuestos que Chile colectara en ambas regiones bolivianas.

3) Bolivia no organizará ni apoyará ninguna guerra de resistencia en esas regiones a menos que el gobierno de Chile quiere restablecer la determinación en las regiones mencionadas o el gobierno de Bolivia requiera la liberación de una región a su contraparte chilena.

4) En caso de que se liberara una región afectada por este tratado, Bolivia iniciará una ley de enemigo natural previa consulta con Chile.

5) En el caso de que las regiones de este acuerdo sean ocupadas por terceros, el acuerdo en sí no será afectado. Chile y Bolivia restaurarán la situación anterior tras consultar entre sí.

6) El presente acuerdo tendrá una validez de un mes. Se renovará automáticamente si ninguna parte lo cancela hasta una semana antes del final del período de validez.

Rental deal between Bolivia and Chile

The governments of Bolivia and Chile have agreed to a rental deal according to the following conditions:

1) Bolivia rents the regions of Altiplano and Chuquisaca and Tarija to Chile.

2) Chile will pay a monthly rent of 10.000cc for Altiplano and 15.000cc for Chuquisaca and Tarija. The payments will be made until the third day after starting a monthly leasing period. The rental fee includes the taxes Chile will collect in both Bolivian regions.

3) Bolivia won´t organize nor support any resistance wars in those regions unless the Chilean governments wants to reset the determination in the aforementioned regions or the Bolivian government asks its Chilean counterpart to liberate a region.

4) In case a region affected by this treaty will be liberated, Bolivia will start a Natural Enemy law upon consultation with Chile.

5) In case regions of this agreement will be occupied by third parties, the agreement itsself won´t be affected. Chile and Bolivia will restore the status quo ante after consultating each other.

6) This agreement will be valid for one month. It will be renewed automatically if not one or the other side cancel it until one week before the end of the period of validity.
