[AMD4CP] An important announcement

Ladies and Gentlemen of the United Kingdom.

I Come to you today with an important announcement.

Now, you may want to take a seat as I am sure that this will take many of you by surprise!

I, Aaron Mark Daniels will be running for the seat of Country President on the 5th August 2015.


I stand to run for many reasons, the first being, It is summer holidays, and I am pretty bored right now 😉 Of course this means I have the time.

Aaron, What will you stand for?

Democracy
I stand for democracy at all costs, no matter what form it may take. Of course the preferred situation is the return of full democracy in eUK however in the current unfortunate situation we have had to make do. I will support the current system as long as it takes a purely democratic form. Woldy is a great dictator and has pushed all the buttons needed when asked, and I hope to work with him and my cabinet as well as congress so that we can do what is best for the eUK.



Transparency
Now, some events this month have shown us the importance of government transparency. The issue with Argentina and the decision to buy a region back from them was a difficult, and neccesary one. It was a respectful decision agreed to out of necessity. In my month as CP I promise to a more open and honest approach by the government. The cabinet, the congress, and most importantly, THE PEOPLE will be informed about what is going on, as we are elected by the people, the people deserve to know what their elected officials will be doing.



Regions
The before mentioned deal with Argentina ends on the 5th August and there is no saying what will happen after. It depends on who is elected in Argentina and what their attitude towards us may be. All will be done to pursue a diplomatic end to the conflict and hopefully negotiations can be made to secure our regions, or more regions back from the Argentinians, however if we are unfortunate, and are faced with a hostile situation, you better be warming up for TP medals lads!


That is all for the time being as I am currently ill, it is already a day later than I promised. A second article will be released in the next few days with a bit more of an insight into other areas and also releasing my cabinet. My cabinet is almost finalised however some positions are availiable. If you would like to serve on my cabinet do not hesitate to send me a PM.
