Except for the mentally insane and convicted felons. Why should the rest of us have to suffer for the few? The second amendment guarantees us the right to keep and bear arms. Yet the government continues to try and infringe upon that right.Our veterans all it takes is a note from a va or military Dr or shrink to take away their right to have one.Even if it's just a minor problem.Why? these poor guys were in charge of multi million dollar pieces of equipment.They were capable then.Why is it when they come home suddenly they are no longer capable now?Is that right or fair? Is it fair that you did something stupid as a teen or early adult that some twenty or thirty years later.Your denied a permit for a minor infraction?Not in my opinion on either account our military should be given a fair shake.Not on one Dr's opinion but on further examination by more then one. Before taking his right's away.And you shouldn't be punish for some stupid infraction done years before.Thats not even worth mentioning.Yes i'm for keeping guns from kids and mentally ill folks and habitual criminals and violent ones. But if you can pass a background check have a legit id.Why should you not be permitted to have a weapon? To protect yourself and your loved ones and your property? Why should you not be allowed to have a concealed weapons permit if your properly trained?I see no reason for either to be allowed.And it should be allowed it should not be up to local municipalities to decide.It should be one set of rules and regulations every where.It should not be up to each sheriff and chief of police to decide how their offices do things.When this happens people are denied according to how each one believes.And as each one is replaced the rules change.And it's not right nor fair to the people living there who voted them in.A lot of men and women died to give us these right why should a few people be allowed to take them away? Better yet why do the vast amount of Americans sit back and let them?Thats the better questions have Americans become that lapadazaical they don't care any more?Have we become so afraid of big government we are too afraid to stand up to it? We the people are much bigger and more numerous then big government.I don't know about you but i fear for this country with it's marxist leader and it go along to get along greed driven congress.
