Why am I now running under SAL.

Day 774, 10:49 Published in South Africa South Africa by OKayOK

It was 3:00am in the morning today. I was tiered and decided to see if there was any more candidates for the presidency. I went to the party page to get the link to the candidate page and for some stupid reason that can only be explained by my absolute exhaustion after not getting all that much sleep I resigned from the Independent Alternative and automatically resigned my candidacy for President.
After staring at the screen for a while trying several things to try resolve what I had done, I headed over to IRC to see if I could get hold of Amun (PP of IA) to re-instate my candidacy but unfortunately he was not online.

The PP of SAL however was online. I did not want to risk missing the deadline so I asked SAL to run me under their banner. I hope that this has not affected my relationship with the IA. The Liberal Party has a very strong relationship with both the IA and SAL with both parties allowing us to run congressmen under their banners. A win for me in this regard is a win for the LPSA, IA and SAL and I see our friendship in this presidential race as more of an alliance.
