WHPR - Victory Through Unity
James S. Brady Press Room
Citizens of the United States of America. This is a special edition of the WHPR, meant to focus on the expectations of all militias and military units within the United States of America.
It’s pretty simple. If you are a militia, or military unit, in the United States, you are expected to take your orders from the Executive (President). By extension, this means the National Security Council (NSC) as well. The NSC is a group made up of all militia leaders, as well as the President, Vice President, Secretary of Defense, National Security Advisor, as well as a handful of Deputy Secretaries, and Presidential Advisers. In short, this is the group that forms military policy for the nation. Although you are expected to take your orders from the NSC, by being part of it, you have the chance to decide for yourselves where the United States directs damage.
Every militia and military unit leader is welcome in the National Security Council There are no exceptions to this. And members of most major militias are present 24 hours a day. But the expectations are, that by participating in the NSC, you agree to fight where the council decides.
If any Military Unit decides to violate the terms of this agreement, there will absolutely be consequences. The reason does not matter. Whether you disagree with the battle choice, you find it boring, or you simply want to fight somewhere else, that’s not how the system works. If you want to be part of the system, then you have to play by the rules.
If you don’t play by the rules, then you can’t expect to be represented on the NSC. In fact, if you do not want to be a part of this system, then you cannot honestly expect to be represented at all by the government, nor have any say in military policy. If you want to make changes, then get off the sidelines, and get involved.
If you don’t want to be involved. If you want to do your own thing. Then the National Security Council has no place for you. This is not a failing of the NSC. This is a failing of those that choose to sit on the sidelines, and complain loudly, instead of taking a proactive approach.
After all that our allies have done for us.
After all that they sacrificed, so that we may persevere.
After all the regions that they lost, so that we may live to fight another day.
After all that, they need to be able to count on us. Just as we counted on them.
Now is not the time to make decisions on your own. Now is the time to make decisions for America. If you don't want to share the swing set, you don't get to swing

Our allies are once again going to war. Our ally Brazil, has declared Spain their Natural Enemy. They are prepared to enter the Iberrian Peninsular with the full force of their military. Together, the United States and Brazil will pursue Peace with Spain, the old-fashioned way. Together, we will work to help France and Germany. Every battle opened against Spain, is more damage that ONE must put towards defending Spain. And that means less damage elsewhere.
Victory through Unity.

Lastly, we would like to rehash something that was mentioned in the last edition of the WHPR. That is the new battle orders system, that the government unveiled last week. This allows for any paper to have the top two battles, at any given moment. There is no more need to update your newspaper after the end of a battle. This system does it for you automatically! This is the perfect way to get, fast, accurate, and timely orders to your troops. If you run a Military Unit, this information is invaluable!

Very important!
We must come up with good names for all newly conquered Spanish territories, and a overall name.
I like Iberian America, but other suggestions are welcome.
As the Leader of one of the largest damage machines in the eUSA, I shall address this article with all the respect it deserves.
First and foremost, the JCS led eUS Military supports the eUSA and HER ALLIES. Which is what we did last night. I turned down a request (if you want to call it that) from the POTUS , to hit in the first mini battle of Cantabria, to follow through on my word to another CP. I realize not everyone understands honor, and what it stands for. But rest assured, I DO. And I honored my agreement to the Australian CP to cover a battle while they slept. If this aggravates you that much, then too dayem bad. We help ALL our Allies, big or small! Our battle orders match closely on a regular basis. But as the General of this man's Army, I CAN and WILL help Allies who send a personal requests. If that disqualifies us for entrance into the esteemed halls of the NSC, oh well. Remember something, we are an INDEPENDENT Military. Shocking, I know. And I will take suggestions from the POTUS into consideration when placing orders. But... NO ONE runs this Military but ME and MINE. Have a pleasant evening.
Sincerely,
CJCS Cyber Witch
Jesus, after reading that I fully expected a finger to reach out of the monitor with a ring for me to kiss.
Wait...THAT'S NOT A FINGER! AAAAAAHHH!

JCS puts EDEN>eUSA?
Say it ain't so.
Where's Harlot when we need him?

Jude nailed it.
Looks like promises to OTHER CPs take priority over those to the US CP.

We are helping EDEN. If you do not believe me, send me a message and I'll fill you in. If you are a member of the NSC then you already know.
HAIL TEDEN
I want my vote back.
In any case, TERRA and the US had W. Aussie as a lower priority.
The USA is so awesome that apart from the first round of Spain, we almost exclusively fight in EDEN/allied battles since we overkill Spain.
So, basically, Australia might have had to take 1 loss to make USA win the first round. After that, its very easy to win any battle across the world.

Ok well, who teased us about our eating habits? Was that Spain or Poland? It doesn't matter anyway, because when I look at Spain on the map, I see a T-bone steak, or a cat's head but I'm going with the steak theme.
Rib
Rib-eye
Filet Mignon
Tenderloin
T-bone
Porterhouse
Strip (Kansas City / New York)
Sirloin
Top Round
Bottom Round
Eye of Round
Chuck
Flap
Flank
Shank
Salisbury
Steak Tartare
Might be nice in Porter's memory, to name the country, Porterhouse. He seems like a good mod so I'm assuming he was a well liked, non-controversial player. Anyway it fits, let's go to Porterhouse and have a New York strip!
Well it was just an idea.... -.-

Cyberwitch. You do not seem to realize that it is the job of the POTUS and his administration to come to agreements with other administrations in other eCountries. It is *not* up to a self-appointed group that were not elected by the people to do this. The POTUS is the Commander in Chief, and any military arm that does not abide by his wishes is rogue and not working in the best interests of the people of the eUSA or of our alliance.
The sandbox doesn't just belong to you, kiddo.
Unsubscribed.
LOL at those of you who think that bringing up Harlot will shut us up... If Harlot were here, he would have put his boot up each and every one of your control freak asses for all the shit you've done. NONE of this would have been accepted and you know it. Had Harlot have been here for the events of the past 6 months, he would have raised all hell. If Harlot were here, the NCS would not exist.
Independence.
Awesome. After this You will leave us alone to play game now ? Seriously ? I don't think so. You wanna control everything. You call that democracy ? Or that is simply dictatorship REGIME ?
He knew it was happening even back then...

The fact is the best and most successful times in eUS history are when the military, Congress and executive are cooperating rather than comparing e-peens. Recently we have had factions and Presidents with an agenda to "bring the military to heel."
Such parties intentionally precipitated conflicts in order to effect a power grab and make themselves feel more important, as politicians are want to do. No fake legislattion or "constitutional amendment" will effect how players interact. Respect from all parties as to the role each plays will do so. There is no bite behind anyone's bark in this game. You have to be cooperative and persuasive to accomplish anything in this environment.
So is the implication here that all of our allies don't deserve our support? In the past, turning our backs on allies has not panned out very well for the eUS. Is the eUS government destined to never learn from her past mistakes?
You're attacking the eUS Military for prioritizing an allied battle over a home battle. But look at the two campaigns - one is "revenge" and one is "liberation".
Realistically, the "revenge" campaign against Spain will have few long term benefits, because the purpose isn't to hold territory... and even if it was, we couldn't even hold territory in Canada, how would you even think about it in Spain?
Versus "liberating" Australia from Indonesia. Will it be long before they're under Indo's thumb again? Unlikely. And I realize that TERRA put it as a lower priority (it's not like TERRA is driven by the eUS and Brazil and would prioritize those battles anyways...), but put on the other shoe. If we were in a battle to "liberate" our last territory and one of our bigger allies prioritized a revenge campaign over us, you wouldn't feel miffed at all?
Which shows you know nothing about strategy.
We finish off Spain... maybe we can help Australia a bit more directly if you catch my drift.
We help 3-5 allies every night win 4-5 battles. All we tell them is we are unavailable from 1500-1700.
I guess not fighting for allies for 2 hours makes us terrible.
No Vanek, it does not. But, on the same token, I guess fighting for 2 hours makes us terrible?
/me drinks Vanek26's tears
Yes it does Morri, yes it does.
USA needs you for 2 hours a night, that is all. And you refused to help the USA.
It's kinda interesting that the JCS seems to read totally different articles than I do. I mean it's pretty simply: if you want to be part of the team follow the rules. And that means all of them and not the ones you like.
On the other hand if you decide to remain independent (which is totally okay) don't expect to be part of what the government writes or does.
Got it?
I don't understand this spain issue. We win battles in our prime time, do we need to make sure we are winning with an 89%. Is that an effective use of damage?
Most of this conversation is so February 2011.
JCS should elect me pres, I am all for cutting ties with you people entirely to allow you to do whatever it is you feel like doing.
Seriously, why do we bother? They left so they can be independent, a long as we don't give them any supplies or money who cares, and if we are giving them supplies or money, how about we don't do that.
The PR blitz is coming in thick from both sides. Simple fact is, the eUSA needed some help from the JCS, the JCS said no, and in view of the absence of a formal relationship with respect to battle priorities the POTUS took the reasonable step of severing other formal ties. Done is done.
For Americans who want to get priorities from the National Security Council and the President, join #eus-war. All military unit members, regardless of unit, are welcome.
Unless you are a Senior Officer, in which case, you will be banned from rooms as was an officer of mine.
From Penegrin: "On the other hand if you decide to remain independent (which is totally okay) don't expect to be part of what the government writes or does.
Got it?"
If it's "totally okay" why was this official article even written? The WHPR article above indicates that it isn't totally okay. Not even a little okay, or semi-totally okay.
okay?
sad use of this paper and really poor thinking in terms of getting the result you say you want.
Ronsil "I don't understand this spain issue. We win battles in our prime time, do we need to make sure we are winning with an 89%. Is that an effective use of damage?"
The issue is battle 1 of our Spain battle. We lost the battle. So your point is completely off.
After battle 1, we shift priority to EDEN battles usually.
Here is my problem CyberWitch, it wasn't "Oh we can't help out this first round, but we will after!" it also wasn't "We can't really help but we will throw this at the bottom of priority list so if our battles are secure they can hit there."
It was simply "Spain is boring" that's unacceptable. Regardless, you're free to make your choices. As such if you refuse to make your choices disregarding the eUS and the fact you claim to be the eUS Military, then you won't have the right to representation and as far as anyone cares, you're a rouge militia with no consideration for the eUSA or it's allies.
Ok serious question which battle are you talking about even? Some people are talking about croatia, other people are talking about spain, the last battle in spain went 8-0 so I don't see us losing a minibattle there.
