Who Wants to Meet Ronald Gipper Reagan in person? and thoughts on my time in eRepublik....

Pretty great song to listen to!
Dear friends all over the eWorld,

I probably should have written this article awhile ago as sadly many I have befriended have long since left these virtual shores, but I figured it is better late than never. Over the next few years I intend to gallivant all over the world and it would be nice to meet some of you along the way. If you would like to meet me in person when I am in your area, please send me a message so we can exchange details. I have more thoughts below if you are interested to read them. 🙂

Sometimes I think back about the many thousands of people I have had the opportunity to speak to on here. In a lot of ways eRepublik has been a time drain, but then again had I never clicked on that little text advertisement on YouTube back on April 29th, 2009, there is a lot I would not know today; and a lot of good folks from all over the world I would have never had the pleasure of conversing with.

Many of you who have talked to me at length know how deep my convictions are and how I would do absolutely anything to uphold and defend them. I often feel alone because of the beliefs I hold dear being so unpopular in today's ever darkening world. It provides some comfort to know that there are others out there who feel as I do, and perhaps there is a glimmer of hope in a world which seems to often be void of it as evidenced by the way we have lost our values as a society, and in many ways lost our way in the process.

Often in American society people pretending to be conservatives invoke Reagan's name, yet our country has only lost its way even more since he was President and these same people have done absolutely nothing to stop it. The same problem exists in many places around the world, and I just wish we would all just wake up before it is too late. Perhaps I am an idealist and a pessimist at the same time, but all great change begins with a dream.

There are ways I did not look at the world before eRepublik. There are too many people to count that I have had the opportunity to talk to; and from every continent on earth(who knows, maybe there was a penguin or two thrown in there?). I have talked to amazing people from scores of different nations. I have even met a few awesome Franks! Who would have thought that they were not all terrible? xD. Perhaps the greatest impression left on me has been from my Serbian pals though. I admire their patriotism, optimism, and their excellent sense of humor. I only wish US foreign policy was more sensible as of all the nations in the world, they are among the last you should want to call enemies. The eUSA missed out by not welcoming them when they had the chance to do so, and instead making a tragic mistake of making the eUS dedicated to the servitude of a bunch of ill-tempered owls.

I also want to give a shout out to everyone else. You all know who you are and in no particular order....Greeks, Hungarians, Chileans, Argentinians, Spaniards, Portuguese, Koreans, Bosnians, Romanians, and everyone else! There are far too many to list but I hope I covered the largest groups I have interacted with though. 🙂 There have been thousands upon thousands of people who at some point have been allied with me either literally or in spirit, and sadly many of your names are lost to eHistory. I do genuinely hope I at least get to meet some of you at some point. You have all been wonderful. Who knows.... we may make another big splash on here before the end of eTime, but it's been a lulzy time, and we've had more than a few laughs along the way!

I look forwarding to working with you on RL ATO operations all over the world!
