I seem to recall something about a "Common Sense Clause".

While it's morphed somewhat from it's original design its core is still embedded in articles of the Constitution:

Section 2.04 When a dictator violates the rules of their post:

(a) It will be subjective choice if a dictator goes rogue of not, Some rules might be broke malicly and sometimes by accident / in case of emergency.

(b) The process for determining the intent of the dictator actions will fall on three of the top five party presidents. They will use discretion over response to any transgression. If they think the dictator needs to be removed for not following the rules then they will contact the MoF who will place all government money out of reach of the Dictator before anything else happens.

(c) The MoF will initiate a 24 hour discussion followed by a 24 hour vote for no confidence in the dictator. The congress vote has to be greater than 66% to pass.

(d) The leader of the Irish Army will initiate the revolution after the congress vote.

So run along now and get the majority of top 5 leaders to back your proposal to remove dictator.
And should you actually manage that, we will refer you to:

Section 1.03 Impeachment
(a) The MoF *CAN* call for one impeachment once a week if asked by a member of congress. This is to ensure all money is safe before any votes.

Please spell it out for me. Are you saying that from Section 1.01 above (a) did not happen, (b) did not happen, (c) did not happen and (d) did not happen? Are you saying that the dictator just chose to accept the MPPs and there was no discussion?

Section 1.01a happened.. none of the others terms were met.

A list was suggested as a starting point for discussion, some initial discussion, but nothing was agreed.

Even the previous CC warned that the dictator can't now pass MPPs.

The CC is MIA

The DCC has personal issues which I fully understand but he already stated he was not going to replace the CC only do some background work.

I repeatedly warned about this and asked the Executive to make the dictator aware he cannot pass MPPs. Even if they didn't (and to be honest they (except for Conway) are also MIA in Congress) Moo knows the rules and choose to ignore them.

Dictator - noun - a ruler with total power over a country, typically one who has obtained power by force.

Seems that the dictator in eRep can do exactly as he or she pleases, just like the definition above states.

It may to some not seem like a big deal. But change is always wanted at one point or another and the people or dail should determine the change in geo-politics ie which MPPs we sign. What if Serbia wanted to pay our half and we therefore signed an MPP? What if Serbia was on the MPP list? Well the list wasn't agreed on.

Now you say that this is different because the nations are friends and Serbia is not. Sorry but while I DO see Mexico as a ally I DO NOT see Turkey as such and would've voted no had the vote come down to dail mechanics.

During the time I voted for these MPP, there was no CC who is supposed to hold vote with congress and the MoFA was away for personal reasons. Mexico proposed the MPP with out my knowledge, I only had 11 hours to vote on it when I say it. I paid the 10K and voted yes. We worked closely with them 3 months ago when we both occupied by Argentina. We got free and they did not. I say all there tanks hitting for us the last 3 months. I thought it would of been an insult to them to vote no, that is why I paid for it and voted yes. I have also offered to pay for an AS to help get Mexico.

Our CP arranged for the Turkey MPP and had them pay for it.

WHS is great at name calling for the people trying to help the country and does absolutely nothing else. His attacks lead people not wanting to be a part of government anymore and poor communication with congress. I do not read the congress thread anymore because I can not be bothered reading 200 useless posts from him about nothing but insulting people. That is not why I play games. If someone paid me I would not be dictator again and will probably leave Ireland in two weeks when this term is up. I would be very happy if some one else wanted to do the job tomorrow.

Government asked if there's someone who wants to be CC, we asked you to take the role and do what consitution says, you rejected it as it would mean you wouldn't be able to call someone names and abuse people.

I began to read and thought I could vote, reply to other comments. Boy was I in for a surprise as things escalated.

I don't think people should set up rules (constitution) and then ignore them. I don't think people should put themselves forward for positions in government and then not bother playing (nor should others put them forward if they are unsure of their commitment). I don't think if I complain a lot about others that if I am given an opportunity of doing their job I should refuse that opportunity. I don't think that as a mature adult it shows character throwing my toys out of the pram when things don't go my way.

I think it is very sad that the enthusiasm and ability of a number of people in the community (no matter what side they are on) can't be harnessed to make eIreland a better place with more cooperation and less nastiness

I guess I am very disappointed at how things are turning out at the moment, but I will keep on playing at the low level that I play.

For the record Don Crota messaged me prior to his election. He is a Cromega member, also aOmega member. He asked for my support in running for CC. I told him I could not give him support as I knew nothing about him. But by not voting against him I would give him a chance. He promised to be fair and open and neutral. This is me, the player everyone accuses of not allowed others to have different opinions letting a new player have a shot. His first act was appointing Conway as CC. He then told me he wanted me to do this job but messaged me after already appointing Conway. Another Cromega caught out on a lie. Then he disappears. Read into this what you want.

This is what we are dealing with here. People who cannot or won't play the game fairly and shift and change rules to suit whatever agenda they have at that exact moment in time.

This is why I am so disappointed in Moo & Elite before him. Because I expected better from them, I will accept Elite made a few mistakes and will not do so again. He has said he wants to be CC again. I'll vote for him. Moo instead of admitting he erred is running away. That is his choice and I wish him well.

Don and his minions are wedded to cheating and will always do it.
