These three letters put together form the worst phenomenon in the eRepublik.

But what is a PTO ?

Political TakeOver, yes the name tells all. It's a group from abroad that takes the power only for himself.

And what is the danger ? Well, imagine a player who stays in power not thanks for its popularity but only because he has a group who support him without having the consent of all members in the party. The "Nomenklatura", but not in the service for the country.

So, when can you speak about democracy when a small group takes the power for their own needs ? That is the danger of PTO.

You think your party is saved ? You are not concerned about this matter ?

They snake in your party without you watch them coming. But this problem is not a fatality!

Indeed, the best solution is to fight together, between parties, because PTO's look for power, big power, but YOU, the political players, can say NO to them, to block their ascent to the power because you'll take the power, for your country, for eBelgium.

Different programs but one big matters : PTO.

Look what happened to Res Belgica before it became Hope. And before that in Union-Unie.

Guess who was involved in the take over of these parties ?
That's right: the same people who call us the power hungry.

Inactive goverments
failed congresselections
constantly the same people in goverments (whit few exceptions)
constantly same parties in goverment (if there proven there loyalty to the elite)
....
I could start writing a book about it, but fact is people already know its your clubs fault.

The population of eBelgium vote for their favourite candidate and the majority win.
After that it's up to the CP to appoint the people he trust.

Really ? Well, I have a big news for you: we are not threatening the country and we are not threatening your party or that from others.
All we do is try to be sure people are not stolen by other who don't belong to their party.

Try to do something from your own party without interfering in others.
