Wake Me Up When NAP Time is Over

Day 2,595, 15:53 Published in United Kingdom USA by Jude Conners

Greetings and Salutations. I'm Jude Conners and I want to talk to you about NAPping. It seems like narcolepsy is running more rampant than Hulkamania did in the 80s. Everyone is taking NAPs and soon there will be no more fighting in a game where fighting is the only thing to do.

Laura is in bed, about to take a NAP

Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological disorder inhibiting the brain's ability to regulate sleep-wake cycles normally. People with narcolepsy just cannot stay awake. A person with narcolepsy is likely to become drowsy or fall asleep, often at inappropriate times and places, or just be very tired throughout the day. Any of this sound familiar? Maybe like your experience lately playing eRepublik?

Plato has made sure that this game is all about warfare. The military module is the only module worth a damn in today's game, and even that statement is stretching it. Coincidentally, the military module is also the module that can make Plato the most money. It also is the module that effects every other module in the game. War affects the political module: a wiped country cannot elect Congressmen. War affects the newspaper module: writers tend to write more during war and nations need to post battle orders. War affects the economic module: We buy more weapons when we have to fight. So why would anyone stifle the one greatest part of the game?

Players have been complaining for years about how boring the game has become. And now, leaders of alliances and nations of the world are making it even more dull with excessive NAPs. I mean, what are you trying to do, chase even more players away?

I'll tell you what... Wake Me Up When NAP Time is Over.

As always, it's been your pleasure.
