UKPP In Trouble Over PP Elections - Issue 07 - 14 Jun

Day 2,763, 09:14 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Jake Lee Blakeway

The UKPP could be in significant trouble tomorrow if polls go a certain way.

Tomorrow the polls open and before we know it, new party presidents could be sparking up all over the country… well if we have a country left. One election which is going to be interesting; asides form my own, is the one for the UKPP.

This month has been a month to forget for the UK Progression Party. With a terrible Party President bringing the party into disrepute and failing to win the Country Presidency. The fact that the UKPP managed to maintain its level of congressmen was unbelievable.

The biggest hurdle for the party however is tomorrow elections; where if King William wins a second term, everlasting damage could be done to the party. The exposure of King William as Ajay only came into the general spotlight after the congress elections, which would explain how the UKPP was able to maintain a high level of congressmen.

What could happen if King Will wins a second term?

Firstly, I believe that memberships will continue to fall, as experienced players are getting frustrated at the lack of direction and leadership at the eUKs biggest opposition party. I think that most players will either leave for ESO or maybe the UKRP instead. With King William at the helm again losses at the congressional elections are inevitable – the extent of the damage depends primarily on how many members leave the UKPP after his victory.

The good news for the UKRP is that with King William back, they are practically guaranteed a third term as Country Presidents. With the UKPP making up the majority of the opposition, a collapse of support for the UKPP would more than likely convert into more votes for the UKRP or perhaps ESO if they were to put together a formal campaign for presidency.

One thing that will be interesting to see is how many players join ESO. With the only party to have an expanding player base, ESO could indeed shake up the next congress by pulling seats away from the UKPP and the UKRP. I don’t think the BDP will be affected, purely because of Wayne’s multi drone army. Of course, if somehow managed to win the election, it would be great to see how many defectors I could attract, although dropping Wayne from any sort of authority would have to be done first.

Another issue with the UKPP election is that there are three more candidates against William. If protest votes against King Will get split between the three opponents and King William maintains a strong loyal force; then it could see the opposition get diluted, resulting in another King William Party Presidency term.

Tomorrow promises to be a great day. With change on the horizon in most parties. The most valuable result however will be the UKPP vote, with voters within the UKPP having to make a stark choice between growth with a new party president, or destruction with King William at the top once more.

Join me tomorrow night as I provide a closer look at the elections as they happen, with hopefully some exit polls and voters reactions as all the election action unfolds.

Until Election day…
