This game is very boring right now and so I thought I would dedicate half an hour to write an article and the best subject I can think of from the top of my head is how India could improve it's activity and overall in game performance.
The problem's I see are quite obvious and have existed for a long time, we have a
The only way we can change this is to make a set of realistic objectives as a nation and an structured plan as to how these goals can be achieved by working together and not always being dependent on 2-3 people every term.
The first thing I would address is our internal structure, I have long said that just because we are one of the smallest nations in the game that should not mean that we can not be the most organised and this could largely be achieved via the use of an external website that should be constructed with the purpose of communication, education and entertainment.
Such a website would be time consuming to build but imagine if we had one place where everyone could go for every aspect of the game, imagine if you logged onto the website each day and everything you needed to know was available at the click of the button, Government updates, allies and enemy charts, supplies and orders, political debates, economical data, interactive games, live chat rooms the list is endless and I am sure people can use their own imagination to add other features to such a site.
Once we have our internal structure and independent website launched we then need to understand what it is we are trying to achieve. Do we seek to be part of an alliance? do we seek to expand our population? I really don't want to speculate what we need to set as our goals as that has to be down to the population not just one or two people, I guess the best way forward would be a massive national census with questions on a wide variety of subjects from allies and enemies to finances and politics, once we have the census results we then can set an agreed direction for our country to take which should be respected by each elected Government instead of an ever changing path which leads us to nowhere year after year.
When we have our national objectives we then need to execute a long term plan to achieve them, right now I have no idea on what the goal's would be and so I can not even try to start answering how we achieve them, for now I guess I just want to get people thinking the right way as we appear on the face of it to be a nation of toothless zombie's!

The Croatian occupation is the raeson your situation is so bad now
India was not able to take new strong citizens or to get a congress for months, even for years. Indians was not allowed to work for other indians in companies, and you lost tons of income with taxes to Croatia.
Also a lot of active Indian players left the country and joined other countries. Now India has some regions back, but still not enough allies. India need join an alliance now and ask all Indians in other countries to take Indian CS to get over 1000 citizens at least.
Ireland recently conquered 14 regions in Central Europe with a similars population like India, only 500 people. But with a good alliance. So an alliance is very important.

Forum.
eIndia got one, pretty well structured, but I don't know if this one is still available. More, I dont like forums (this is a personal opinion) because you have to get a nick, a pass and so on, but, most important, a forum is not ... alive, like a chat.
On the other hand, #india is not very alive too 🙁
Structure.
Before eIndia use to have a good structure.
Very important now is to coordinate the MU and to have an efficeint hierarchy and chain of command/communication.
Sadly, never we got a ... bold attitude, nor done ... extraordinary deeds. We use to bargain with others just to ... survive. And this,I belive, is the biggest problem we have.
eIndia is drifting along waiting for a babyboom which stands unlikely to happen for .............well a long period of time .
I do appreciate our government to deal with croatia and provide for a Congress still it isn't a permanent solution . If moving along at this pace eIndia will lose more citizens and bank on its few active ones to hold together . eIndia needs to collaborate so that it could even get these 500 people to work together . We just got only a few of these people working together .
All our attempts to revive our dormant population stands futile until we answer our main problem .
But I ask this eIndia

simply put, this is a game, not a real government. So, people tend to be more laid back about what they do. This is where we come to take a break - in other terms, be lazy 🙂
yeah. I'm in agreement with the people above about alliances. I don't know what the former governments have been doing, (Just joined this dec), but I believe the lack of regions has been a dent in our status as a country - no one wants to talk with a wiped state, really. But, now we own atleast 3-4 regions, that will take us forward in the future

These are very effective points suggested by u. All these can be done , many things can be done to improve the situation eIndia is in.
But the problem is the non co-operation of the admins. They just dont seem to provide any glimmer of hope that things will change. They are finding new ways to extort euros from the current bunch of players. They hardly want to spend to improve the game , community and weak countries.
For example the new division system. Whats the point in having BB when actually it will take the new players around 2 to 3 yrs or maybe more to reach division 4 which is 5 points in a battle field and is the most important division which decide the battles. Nobody is gonna stick along with this game that long , thus nobody is actually gonna make an effort for BB. Even after they reach div 4 , the division system will again be required another reset and they will be back in div 2 again . Just like it happened currently.\
Thus the weak countries gonna stay weak forever , even if they have a BB.
If we expand the population eIndia will be successful. I'm sure about that. But what happens to India?

I also have had the idea of a one stop eIndia site.Which I think would help growth and activity as it just makes the game play that much easier, as someone said above it a game that's why people are lazy.
But honestly it should all be provided in game by admins,major lack of vision on there part, they tried with that half ass attempt of chat few years ago, if they kept everyone in game for the amount of time some people spend on this game and had one small advertising are at top or down the side they make some amount of money.
Also had the idea of census, we need to know who we have,what we want so we know where we want to go. Knowledge is power.
We need to set goals (Currently ticking of some major RL ones atm 😃)
Make are self answerable to them, so we have to hit them, we have no other choice!
I know that repeats a lot of what you said in the article ,pretty much because I agreed with what you said 🙂 I'd like to see eIndia take a leaf out of eIreland books
My apologies for the late comment. It is a birthday weekend for me and my brothers, so I've been spending time with family.
Right now, I am trying to encourage top down communication, by the way of the Regimental Captains, in the Indian Armed Forces. While this communication will be taking place in game, for now, I believe it will promote greater activity and greater coordination.
For forums, we have had http://forum.erepindia.com/ for that purpose. Regrettably, it has gone largely unused. I believe the metagame tends to be an inconvenience -- adding unnecessary extra steps to gameplay. I would prefer one-stop shopping -- everything done within the game.
