Time for Some Rest

Day 3,031, 11:28 Published in USA USA by Orikfricai

All good things must come to an end.

I want to thank Israel Stevens for the spirited Campaign. I've learned so much over the course of this campaign from you and your constructive criticism, without which, I wouldn't have discovered my ability to write effectively. I hope I can continue to learn and stand on the shoulders of giants, such as yourself.

I would also like to thank the eAmerican people who voted for me. Thank you for the vote of confidence and believing in my vision.

As many of you know, on the 3rd, life gifted me and my wife a beautiful, baby boy, Gabriel Alexander. There were doubts on whether I would continue my campaign. I have no doubts that I would have been able to faithfully execute the duties of the President of the eUnited States as Head of State and Commander-in-Chief. In the end, I didn't want to disservice Israel Stevens by dropping out, so I stayed in the race until the end.

And what a campaign it was!

In the early hours, we swapped the lead numerous times with me leading by, at most, 5-6 votes. After 0800, things really started heating up, with Israel Stevens taking the lead, widening the gap between us by 10 and eventually 20 votes.

Exciting!

While some of you older players have probably seen tighter, more contested, and excitable races, this has been, by far, one of the better races I've seen in my time here.

So, while that chapter of the journey is at an end, I look forward to working behind the scenes helping America be great again. Who knows...maybe another campaign is in my future.
