This is NOT a prediction

Day 2,658, 00:03 Published in USA USA by MazzyCat

Predictions have flown. Some right. Some wrong. Some silly. Some serious. But you know what? They are just that. Predictions. They don’t really matter in a game. Not much. In a game like erepublik only a few things matter. The number 1 thing though? WINNING. Because - let’s be very honest with ourselves here. If we lost at every turn... why would we keep on playing? (Well - Ajay could answer that, but meh.) What NOBODY predictated... is possibly the most important thing in the nation right now.

Integrity. Loyalty. Honesty. Privacy. At what point do you throw away privacy? At what point do you let your integrity override others privacy? Where is your line on how loyal you really are? When do you decide.. that those things stopped mattering to you? Intense questions over a game. Right? But - guys. I think we need to stop and think over all of them.

Yes - people did/said things that were very much wrong. Yes - they screwed up HORRIBLY. Do we pay for this with the cost of a nation? NO! Do we cluster together in our little cliches and decide how this can best benefit our clique? Well - really we shouldn’t. We should stop and realize that clustering together only weakens us. But - clustering has already started. This is the last thing we need right now. Have your own minds. Your own thoughts. But don’t forget that this is OUR nation and that throwing rocks at glass houses does no one good. The rocks get stuck inside a broken house. The glass is shattered. And all that anyone walks away with - is a sense of ‘pride’ in destroying something. One more house gone.. on a street of broken houses.

Instead - I feel we should handle this with a bit of dignity. Remember our great enation comes first. Not our foolish prides. Not our silly vengeance. Not even our cliques ! (FYI - clique means party in case you hadn’t caught on yet.) What makes us great is our diversity. Our ability to see things so varied and colorful. And.. still somehow.. MAGICALLY at the end of the day. Not walk away with so much bile built up in our stomachs that we vomit the night away. We still... for the most part... talk to each other. Sure - some are crappy and mean and talk down. Some are sweet and kind and uplifting. Along with all the ones in between. But each of these people have their place. Regardless of how much you might personally despise them.

What’s your point ViKy???? (See? I knew you’d have to start thinking this at some point!) My point is really simple. YES - people messed up badly. I won’t even begin to deny that. Some tried to get others to do something they really didn’t want to do. Others tried to stop that by reacting the only way they knew how. In a sense - this whole scenario was bad and played out badly. And.. it’s left me thinking. About - what can a woman with a whip who was once a cat do. And.. I think I’ll leave you to think about what YOU can do.
