Think Before You Vote! Don't Believe Propaganda!

I've always found it funny how eUK players are all psychologists and English language graduates... Wait, forget that, I meant to say I've always found it funny how eUK players think they know what everyone is thinking, and think they can tell the master plans of someone based on how long their sentences are. Since I joined the game in the times of ONE this has been something I noticed, and it has continued right up to this day. At the times it makes players look like idiots, and at other times it gives us a right laugh. During election time, these crazy people are listened to and believed. During this election I have seen criticism of both of the main candidates cabinets, some of it is acceptable as I recognise they are both not perfect (mainly because I can't seem to find myself in them), but some of it makes me think you should be a spin doctor in the General Election. These comments then move onto the policies which some people disagree with without even thinking about them. This article is probably going to be bias towards Max Blue because he is a good friend, a good player and someone who I trust can lead the country. After all, we are looking for a good leader, not a good dictator.


Foreign Affairs
The first criticism I have seen is that Max knows nothing about foreign affairs. This has been exaggerated quite a bit. Max doesn't know the most about foreign affairs in this game, and I don't think he claims to, but he certainly knows more than most of the people voting in the election. If elected, he will have Fataliix and Ser Fartsalot in his MoFA who I both trust can run that ministry and advise Max on foreign affairs. Max is an idea man, having the man at the top coming up with great ideas while having close people to advise him on the problems is a great combination, and that is what we would see with his MoFA.


Airstrike and War
The eUK is getting pretty boring again, just look at our top 5 articles (well, the Leicester article is good, but everything else is...). Is that a reason to start a war in this game? Yes, mainly because I play games to have fun and not to pretend I have some power over a bunch of teenagers. Both main candidates have promised they will look for war in the upcoming term. Fataliix, as far as I can see, hasn't given any ideas on how this will happen if he is CP. Max Blue has given ideas, which have come under criticism because people can't read. It has been suggested that Max will attack our allies, when what you can quite clearly read is that he will negotiate with our allies for an extra bonus. Anyone who argues otherwise needs to go back to school. Max has also said he will intend to use an airstrike after discussing it with his MoFA and MoD, as well as letting it go through Congress. I actually can't see the problem with this, isn't that what should happen with almost every war?


International Democracy Army
The IDA is an organisation which promotes fair-play in the game by stopping evil, foreign rich players becoming dictators of countries they have no right to be in. Max wants to support the IDA to promote fairness in the game and give countries the chance to rule themselves, instead of being ruled by someone with a few thousand gold. Max wants to officially recognise the support, and to set CO's for eUK players fighting in IDA battles (you can set CO's for citizens of a certain country). To fight for the IDA you have to move temporarily to certain military units. Some people have suggested that the government under Max will force players to fight for the IDA, which is impossible. I don't know how you can force someone to leave their military unit, force them to join a different military unit, and then force them to keep clicking the fight button. You can't, certain people have just taken things wrong and are using it for propaganda.


Okay, to sum it all up. I've basically just told you why some of the propaganda you are reading is wrong. I haven't seen any of this from Fataliix so don't blame him, I want you to have the facts so you can choose who you want to lead the country. I will be voting Max for reasons I stated at the top of the article, but don't let my vote change yours. I'm ready for some people to attack me, but if I didn't have a voice and didn't pose a threat to their crazy ideas, why would they?
