Lets face everyone: we’re dead. eUSA had barely a heartbeat these last 2 months because Wild Owl beat Plato, so everything’s been peachy! The past 6 months have been gauged on colonialism, resources and foreign affairs by the aforementioned CP. The past year has been, and always will be, about protecting eUSA’s best interests: Freedom.

If you haven’t made the trip yet to our capital, then you most likely: are a bot sitting pretty in a top 5 party, don’t understand English (and are too lazy to right click your page to try google translate) or don’t agree with anything being done in this country (aka dgaf), or are here to mine resources for your MU in another country. Just last week my comrades and I flew to Aspen because obviously we could not miss out on the action: where the beer flows like wine, and where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano...

What is there to do here? Most are up to date on why its important to be in Denver, Colorado. Otherwise I guess you’re dead already. Plato found a way to: break into eUSA’s fortress (albeit an expensive way and in as little time as possible), reduce the role / relevance of other political aspects of the game, and open the doors of citizenship to our enemies once again. All this without a blink of an eye from our old friend RGR (where is he by the way?). I think its also the first attempt by Plato to find a way to get people to pay RL money to have control over everything political in the game. Confirmed Plato thinks 200,000 is the cost for democracy I guess.

So, as my friends and I sit up here tonight, in the mountains with our scotch and whatnot, snuggling, huddling close together in our shanty cabins, fires burning in the fireplaces, and ponder what can happen next, there are a few things we should be discussing, but seem to ignore. Soon our freedom will be tested and possibly wiped. This could be performed by a desperate soul with a reason to burn a ton of RL money, a person who has a vendetta towards eUSA, and/or by our own government who are weighing the options of running meta elections to elect a dictator. Yes, a Democratic Dictatorship. Only in erepublik, amirite?

Recent congressional elections shined a light on where the active population resides in the top 5 parties, and where a majority of bots sit to pad the numbers to keep eUSA’s top 5 parties right where it needs to be.

What do you see? Did you find the parties with bots!?!? Good job. This is how the game is played. Or was played. You now see a vehement lack of consistency by overall rank vs election votes.

First: The largest party (Feds) has come in 2nd place by election votes to the 2nd place ranked (USWP) party during these congressional elections.
Secon😛 By rank, two of the five larger parties (WTP/AMP) have dipped below the number five seated party (BSP) during these congressional elections.
Thir😛 Plato’s historical filters are s***. The party president now was not the party president in the past. Seriously, Plato?

Fourth: The Feds lost the votes they had in January to the Black Sheep Party.

Fifth: 1-4 don’t mean a thing anymore these days. A Dictatorship makes the top 5 party competition and management irrelevant.

Say that again. “A Dictatorship makes congressional elections irrelevant.” It makes party politics in eUSA irrelevant. Party primaries, congressional organization, meta-gaming...its all wiped in the matter of a day. This also would mean that the bot managers no longer would need to worry about padding the numbers to keep a party like the AFA from breaching the top 5 party area because _____________?

Correct. They would be irrelevant.

Suddenly the overwhelming overhead of national responsibility to protect eUSA from a PTO is single handedly given to one individual. Group efforts by the top 5 parties becomes useless to work in unison against its enemies because it is now exposed by personal greed and medal coveting. Drastic measures have already been taken by your country’s leaders to protect the Congressional Budget Office’s holdings. You can see future proceedings unfold in Public Congress on the eUSA Forums. More drastic measures will come as the skirt of eUSA’s security, that has lasted for about 5 years or so, will be lifted up by Plato so any wealthy individual can now simply pluck eUSA’s virginity for a mere 200,000 cc. That is a cheap fetch for a price on 5 years of work.

Plan for the future.

I’m ready to fight for freedom against foreign attacks; there is no question about this and no prediction is needed. This includes attempts at disguised democracy, even if it is by an ‘elected’ individual that I did not vote for. It is simply too much power to let one person have the keys: which is why the CBO exists. Should I be blacklisted for fighting against this type of forced election? I think not, especially if my tax money is to be used for something I do not believe has the country’s best interests in mind. I can be as ‘RAH RAH **** THE MAN’ as much as I want if the country is subject to a selfish tyrant. That money in the CBO is all our tax money, and it is there to protect us from foreign attacks from the likes of organizations such as TWO. It has not been saved by each congress for the past 5 years to perform ridiculous elections that supplant real democracy with a new term in erepublik known as ‘Democratic Dictatorship’. That’s just silly. The CBO holds the money that is there to finance government programs and protection. It's been that way for the past year and has no reason to be any different going forward. Personally, I think if we’re held hostage to submit to a new game mechanic, we should at least hold an auction for the price on America’s virginity, amirite?

Have no fear, this is not eUSA’s virgin. She’s just some psycho floosy.

If we’re going to have a ‘Man with a plan’ type become our dictator, then he/she should at least front the money to orchestrate such an endeavor. That money is for protection against foreign attacks, not planned domestic attacks. This way if this dictator does let in baddies and raises the taxes then they will have already paid for it in full with more than just 200,000 cc. Cha-ching. The national orgs will be drained and an eUSA dictator will still be subject to democracy. Why not make them do it at a starting bid of 200,000 cc and NOT use the country’s own budget?
