The word of Shadow

Day 1,204, 13:32 Published in Belgium Belgium by Jofroi

(Sorry, I was too lazy to write the ukcs).

As some of you may have noticed, I changed the name of my newspaper. This is for 2 reasons. The first one is that LvL is not behind us anymore, so there is no more reason to call my newspaper Fougoy.

The second one is obvious I think. I keep doing my propaganda about my future election which will happens in some times.

Ok, so here we come to the topic of this news:

Answer to the opposition

This is an answer to the last new of Shadowukcs.

BfB (and ofc the real boss behind BfB, TR)

I think that you shouldn't consider the BfB as TR puppet. Of course he is one of his pillar, of course he is very important and has always been. But this does not mean that he is managing the whole party alone and controlling everyone as a puppet master. Everyone is able to submit his thought and the candidate of BfB is often chosen because there is no one willing to run excepted the running candidate.

As you stated moreover, there are plenty of good guys in the BfB, and they are acting on a national stage following their own will and I have never been contacted during the last month by Thomas Red.

So, Yes we listen to ThomasRed advice, but he is not the onloy one in the party to have his opinions and we have enough independant people. Of course we have a lot of 2 clickers, and you could say that a lot of them are friends of ThomasRed because he receive a lot of votes every month. But do you really think that the two clickers are the one who decides of the future and the behaviour of the party? This is certainly not the truth!

What will remain of our diversity in a few month?

Diversity? What is your definition of Diversity. If you want to state that there are a lot of different parties with different programs, then we don't have diversity. We have 3 parties in Belgium (sorry Juan Cruz, but your party is too small in my opinion). The BfB and RB that are opposed and I have no ideas about the political difference between both parties about the economy and such and the BCP. The BCP is a half dead party, excepted with their CP claiming "Communism" everywhere he can, they do not have real powers.

The difference between BfB and RB is more about the people inside the parties than a real difference of view about the way to act. As a proof, I would like to point out that the change of president has not driven any problem.

So to conclude, Belgium has already lost all the "diversity" you are talking about if you consider a party point of view.

But we still have a lot of active citizens with different points of view and they might sit and talk together. This is the real diversity, confronting the opinions, showing adverse points of view and debating.

What will remain of the party rivalry that makes politics in this game so interesting?

As I stated previously, there is already no party rivalry, excepted between RB and BfB.

As a proof, I would like to point out that during the last month, there has been some blaming (mainly from shadow) againt the government until LvL resigned. And then nothing! For 15 days there have been not any single critic or comment about the government. Why? It is quite obvious. There were no more opposition as the BfB and RB were both in the government.

The only rivalry between party is a fight between the BfB and the RB to know who will gain election. We are only talking about the way to do things, not about the things itselves (sheep voting, visa card... this really has nothing to do with the way to manage the country. But it is pretty hard to criticize when the point of view are similars). The rivalry is only about who has the power which can not be called a sane rivalry imo as this has no advantage to make the country progress.

Of course we require an opposition and RB is doing it well, but there is a problem and nobody can't deny it. And this is not the fault of the BfB, this is due to the lack of activity of the whole country.

It’s a sad thing really since BfB have so many promising elements. Mittekemuis, Pieter, manong, Glenn, jofroi,… all ppl who would make great presidents and who would be respected in the community

Well, here as I stated before, the reason that we are not president is that we don't want (yet 😛) to run as president. This has nothing to do with the BfB or with ThomasRed, we just don't want (yet) to.

When LvL ran he made a manifesto that was in poor English and had no content whatsoever.

I wasn't actively playing on these times but you might be right on it. If I remember well he was also the only player of the party willing to run and so was supported by the party.

The fact that he won show the problem (even if it is my fault as I gave a citizenship so that someone could vote 😛) of sheeps. But this is a problem that will always arise. There is no way to counter it, excepted if we act like in NL and do a "Congress election" or something similar, which is highly undemocratic imo.

The "power of friendship" will so keep ruling the country for some times. The BfB being the historic party he'll always profit of this effect.

The Belgium is a land of compromise, talks and so on. The current duality system and the 2 clickers problem is of course not really helping. I think that the most honest way to act would be to make a "forum active based" voting and only propose one overall candidate, but this would lead to a lot of problems/troubles and it would be pretty hard to make everyone agrees on it.

And stop thinking that ThomasRed is a kind of BfB god it is not true at all 😉.

Best regard,
A former sheep.
