Hello eNetherlands!
I have some big news from all around our country!
Lets start with the most important news from the western parts of our country:

The Dutch National Oil Company (D.N.O.C.) has decided to stop their production completely.
The D.N.O.C. claims that oil, which has been drilled out of the North Sea bottom for years, is running out and drilling deeper would be too expensive...

All the workers from D.N.O.C. have massively decided to go fishing in their spare time, so the main production in West-Netherlands is now fish. As it is supposed to be...

Then we have other news from the North of our country:

A farmer named Frederik Ruit (Now referred to as Mr. F.Ruit) discovered that some weird climate change, accompanied by the lack of ice this winter, made it possible to grow all kinds of fruits in the northern parts of our country!

So people massively threw their fishing rods away (in Western direction) and started to sow fruit trees. Which makes fruit the main production of North-Netherlands.

But there is more!

In the southern parts of the Netherlands a woodcutter was tired and threw his axe on the ground. He heard the strange sound of metal-on-metal. So he looked at the ground where he left his axe, and he found vast amounts of Iron ore!
So he and his companions spread the news around, which brought a giant Iron madness to Brabant and Limburg (Some people seem to call it 'Carnaval'?). So the Dutch government re-opened some of the old mines.

And Iron is now the main production in South-Netherlands.

And last but not least:

In the Eastern parts of our country nothing changed. The farmers are happy with their cattle.

And so the proud but small nation of Fish-Catching, Fruit-sowing, Iron-mining and Cattle-herding people enters a new Era. What it will bring, is only to guess...

Sincerely,
Gwom
