The difference between leadership and power.
Vincent Pain
Since our Gov haves a hard time understanding why we oppose them...
First of al.....
There is a difference between leadership and power!
The idea of leadership is indeed based on a hierarchical system, but that hierarchy is based on responsibility. The individual gives a part of his responsibility to be a leader, and that leader takes responsibility for the group of individuals. The idea is therefore assumed that the leader is able to bear that responsibility.
The leader can only bear responsibility if he knows what is expected of him. And he can only know if he has the necessary information. That means that the members of that group inform to the leader about what their needs are. Only then can a good leader act and speak on behalf of the group!
The leader can only lead if he knows the members of the group.
And by that I mean: personally......
1-How can he take responsibility for someone he has never met or spoken?
2-How can he know what his needs are?
3-How can he be responsible for someone he does not even know he exists?
And how can an individual give responsibility to a leader whom he never met or spoke with?

hey Vince o// \\\o ////o
exactly, the personal kontact between the representing and represented one is very important. however it doesn't justify leadership itselve.

1 - He is not supposed to take it.
2 - He doesn't know anything about it..
3 - He can't be responsible for anyone.
4 - He can't be a leader at all.
Could it be that this mysterious personality is eBelgium Government?
"1-How can he take responsibility for someone he has never met or spoken?"
Citizens are required to use their right to speak up, if they refuse to speak up, it means they agree and give the responsability to the leader. It it not the leader's goal to meet and speak with everyone, because he will never be able to do it. SOme people don't care or don't want to speak.
"2-How can he know what his needs are?"
He may or may not know what their needs are but the needs don't matter because every person has different needs, to the point where, if they conflict, he takes the needs of the majority, because they represent support of his leadership.
" 3-How can he be responsible for someone he does not even know he exists?
And how can an individual give responsibility to a leader whom he never met or spoke with?"
A leader is responsible because he is one unde rmany. He is the person that is active and willing to lead, because not everyone is able to lead. As long as the majority doesn't protest, the leader continues to lead because he has the support he needs to continue, because as said before, he will never be able to know every single person.
If the person doesn't speak up, knowing he has the ability to do so, he relinquishes his right to give someone responsability to lead. He follows what the leader does who broke out and installed himself as leader, because said leader is supported by the majority of the people. The leader won't care about the individuals toughts because they are unimportant in the grand scheme of all people.
A leader is someone who takes power and does his best to fulfill the needs of the majority, because he will never be able to achieve the needs of all people because there are always needs that contradict themselves. Thus he will lead until the majority do not follow him anymore and shall be replaced by another leader who fulfills the needs of the majority.
