Sorry about the large picture

Has anybody had the chance to read this book? I am currently reading it for the second time and am always amused by Holden and his words of wisdom as well as his authors strange habits here is a list of some things that u may find unusual about the now famous author J.D. Salinger

1.He had a love affair with a teenager.
2.practiced Zen Buddhism
3.John Lennon's killer Mark Chapman had copy with him when he assassinated John Lennon.
4.regularly ate undercooked lamb and frozen peas thinking that it was healthy
5.drank his own urine
6.lived in solitude with no heat or water in order to get away from the public
7.may have as many as 10 finished novels that haven't been released
8.Catcher in the Rye may be the most banned book as well as the most taught books of the 20th century

"Game, my ass. Some game. If you get on the side where all the hot-shots are, then it's a game, all right I’ll admit that. But if you get on the other side, where there aren't any hot-shots, then what's a game about it? Nothing. No game."-Holden Caulfield
