The building process

Day 2,758, 10:35 Published in Australia Australia by Callumh123

Greetings eAustralia, I have quite a lot to write about in this article, so as always, I will attempt to be terse.

First off, it has been 5 days since the election that put Henry the 8th back into power over close second Brigidd. I am relieved that Henry got over the line during a remarkable turn out, of course not out of character thanks to our enlarging community, mostly by the Black Spectra Brigadiers.

Onto the next point, the Senate. My apparent favourite subject. Guagature in all his wisdom (which is little) decided to make me an admin on the eAus forum.

I will admit I have been a bit lazy into action, however I got some work done and found out how the forum ticks, in the most basic way possible.

Now the next part is going to make me seem as though I am the authoritarian of the Senate, which is true in part seeing as I am currently overseeing its renovation of sorts.

I made the Senate forum transparent so that all citizens can see what is happening. This will bare fruit once the next step of restoring the forum based Senate happens.

The step before the big one was to clear up the clutter and make a Senate archive so we don't lose anything important for the time being and we have a better consensus on how the archive will be used.

So the forum is now primed and ready, looking slicker and more ready for use. Now all we need is some Senators.

Now how on earth would we be able to do such a thing you might be asking yourself, I too ask myself that often. The best way I can see it happening is with the creation and implementation of a constitution.

Now, we use to have a pretty decent one on the old forum. However, that is now gone under as XG has rightfully so, closed it down.

I call on all older citizens, if you have an older version of the constitution saved away in a cold dark vault somewhere, please, please send me that copy you have. It is a workable platform and to be frank, I do not have the necessary imagination to conjure one up all on my own.

Also, anyone that might have the Senate Standing Orders saved as well, please send me that. It is almost as vital to the Senates restoration.

I am also looking for some hands on deck to help edit and get this constitution at a high level so we can put it to the Senate to vote on in the message threads.

If we a majority agree, it will be considered partially ratified. If were to do this 5 months ago it would be fully ratified. But now there is this new particular module that just happens to hinder the democratic process, we need the acting CP of the day to also ratify the constitution.

Linking the Executive and the Legislative partially in order to have at the very least a semi-functioning democracy with a burgeoning forum.

The last couple of things I wish to discuss if you would so indulge me is on my new position as Minister of Education.

I am still trying to get a hold of the org nut because benevolent plato reset them I have been unsuccessful in my endeavour.

Once that happens I will be releasing articles daily. But most likely not of my own. Now to take a shot at former MoE's if applicable. Being MoE is quite an easy gig if done right.

See some when they take it on think they are expected to write 20 articles a month. Pointless. It is more likely that a predecessor has already written something on the subject that is still current, if not slightly out of date this can be rectified by a simple edit.

MoE's have no excuse not to publish daily. New players are around everyday wanting information. Posting one informational article every other day is not sufficient. Republish, republish, republish. Keep doing this and hopefully you will reap the rewards of new players actually paying attention.

If not at least no one can blame you for not trying. To all Governmental members, current and any future aspirant; please add this link to all your Governmental publishing: http://auserep.forumotion.org we need it to generate some more activity into the forum.

Now the last thing I want to say before ending is that in my new portfolio that I presume also covers Information, I will be doing a weekly podcast on current events, cabinet reports, discussions etc...

The first one will be this coming Thursday.

Apologies for the inevitable spelling mistakes, I tend not to proof read and keep going with articles and just clicking publish.

EDIT-

I got a little trigger happy on the forum and deleted a ton of useless subforums in the political section. It is a lot less cluttered.
