The Bold Lt Colonel Scrapwolf

Day 1,893, 14:54 Published in USA USA by Jack Mensley

This week:

Scrapwolf is a USNG Division Executive Officer of Div 1 in the United States National Guard Forces.
He was born on January 15, 2011 in the new world and joined USNG in March 26th, 2011.
Scrapwolf has honorably served in USNG for 2 years and 10 months. Today we get to hear a bit about him.

What made you join USNG? and what made you choose to stay?

First off, I wanted to join this military because I wanted to meet new people and learn about the game. I joined the eUSNG specifically because it had a small community, so I could get to know everyone and everyone could get to know me. What makes me stay is the fact that the eUSNG becomes like a family once you have stayed for a while, and if you decide to leave, both hurts you and everyone you have known.

Who was your most inspirational person in your early years?

I would say myself, I mean, cmon, I am the most awesome person I know amirite? But that would be a little cocky 😛 I would say the most inspirational person I have seen in my early years has to be Axe_Ccident. She was active, goofy, a good leader, and a good friend.

What was you're first promotion/officer position in USNG? how did you like it?

The first promotion I got was to be PCO of the M1 platoon, or Winters Warriors. At first I was a little nervous about what to do and how to do it, but once I got the hang of it, it became an everyday thing. I found the job to be average. There is not not many exciting experiences to sending out roll call and posting on your platoon's forums every once in a while. Sometimes I would have a decent chat with someone, but not too often it would seem. Of course, the fun of the job depends how active and creative you and your soldiers are.

How do you think USNG can improve itself? In which specific ways?

That is a tough one. I would love to see much more activity and people on IRC so all of our platoons can chat with each other. I have also seen several people complain about who we are attacking (please note I live under an erock) as they seem to be our allies. I would love to see that change a lot, are we fighting for communism or are we fighting for AMERICA?

Now some may say USNG isn't the best. No fighting unit is perfect. Every strong military in history suffers at one point. Though what USNG has is pure fun and enjoyable people. As it's second in command I try my best and continue to do even better.
For the point of where I stand upon fighting against eUS. I do not like it, to fight against our home turf is some what discouraging, but I myself do not find the excessive changes in alliances to aid the eUS any better than opening wounds for other nations to discourage and disregard as a nation. So I feel USNG does the correct action to fight for what they see as allies.
