What is Boblo?

Bob Boblo was a preeminent eUK’er and early CP of the eUK. He spearheaded moves to make the forum a more interesting place and to encourage fun and community amongst eUK players. He would wittily puncture the ego’s of those who took eRep too seriously, and was always minded as to the importance of keeping eRepublik fun and engaging for everyone. His Awards were one such way of achieving this. Advocates of this mindset described themselves as Bobloists, which developed into an e-faith (there were a few back in the day) and was looked after by the ‘Spamican Church’.

What are the Boblo Awards?

The Boblo Awards were handed out by Bob Boblo every six months. They were delivered with humour and panache, and become a cornerstone of the e-social calendar. A long list would be posted and citizens would pray they had been included for the charming complementary awards rather than the cutting and satirical ones!
