Join the new world

The people of Slovenia would like to express our gratitude towards the great people of Lithuania, who helped us in our time of need. We're a small nation, whose population shrank from a formidable 1200 people a while ago (we were 6th country in the world at the time!), to some 400 in the last month. This and the fact we had six original regions, plus one we got from Austria, made us a prefect target for PTO squads, but until these last elections, we were only briefly visited by a few lone individuals, who were after the easy congress gold. We were pretty organized in our election period and managed to only let 3-5 foreign candidates to succeed in their intent. This month was different. Last chance to get the easy position before citizenship and even after it gets implemented, with only a few congressmen in place, an organized group could then confirm citizenship requests to their friends and gradually build their strenght before taking over a country entirely. Our worst fears came to life when we noticed a large group of Romanians, that called themselves Praetorians, running for our congress. I howled a desperate cry on the Peace GC forums for some help from our allies, but nobody answered. I went to Peace IRC channels and repeated my cry for help, and to my astonishment: somebody answered. Cawx, president of Lithuania offered the help of his people, if they were able to repel the threat on their own congress. We offered free tickets, but when I heard the number of Lithuanians, that were prepared to help us, I realized we didn't have enough of them in our stores or on the market! We offered Gold, but Lithuanians would hear nothing of it. I was touched and astonished by this gesture of friendship and good will and I can only hope to repay you for the help you have provided. I would also like to offer special thanks to your citizen Dionizas, who provided us access to his masterpiece that helped us monitor the election progress without manually spending hours of our time to update our Google docs.
As I already told my friend Cawx, I haven't met such nice people on eRepublik, people who selflessly helped someone they never met before only because they shared the same alliance. This game is full of people with their hidden agenda and crooked politics, that it's refreshing to meet someone, who I can look in the eyes and call my friend.
I hope we can continue building good relations between our countries and strenghten our friendship.
