Suggestion - Renting Deals

Hello everyone,
Most of you probably read this article. It is a very good suggestion, and the main idea is 20% bonus in RWs for people who have citizenships of the country which is making the RW.
Therefore, I suggest another idea - "renting".
For example, USA wants to rent Baja from Mexico :
Someone from the American congress propose a renting law, which will look like that -
Do you agree that USA will rent Baja from Mexico for the next month? USA will pay Mexico ____ cc.
This law will be in both American's and Mexican's congress, and will need 66% majority in order to pass. If the law passes in both countries, USA declares war on Mexico and gets 20% bonus damage for American citizens (there isn't war law - he war begins when the American CP decides to attack).
The money goes immediately from USA accounts to Mexico's (if there isn't enough money, then the renting law doesn't pass), and the region Baja can't be RW'd until the renting ends. When the renting ends, there is another law in both countries' congress - do you agree to extend the renting between USA and Mexico for the region Baja?
If it passes again in both countries' congress, USA pays again the same amount of money they paid last month and the renting continues until one of the countries' congress decides not not extend the renting deal.
If USA have already rented Baja for some months and then Mexico decides not to extend the renting deal - a RW is starting immediately in the region (if there is more than one region which was rented - when the RW is over, another one starts in the second region as well, and same with more than two rented regions). People who have citizenship of the country which originally owns the region which was rented (for example, people with Mexican citizenship), get double freedom bonus (40
Renting regions can also happen using AS. For example, Russia wants to rent Free State from South Africa - then the law will look like that -
Do you agree that Russia will rent Free State from South Africa using AS for the next month? Russia will pay South Africa _____ cc. In such a case, South Africa will get a regular and not a double freedom bonus.
If a country wants to rent a region from another country, but the region is an original region of another country (for example, Germany wants to rent Scania from Lithuania), then the renting can't happen and such a law isn't possible. However, Lithuania can release Scania, then Germany rents it from Sweden and Sweden sends the money to Lithuania.

Good idea... But what if Usa wants to rent a region from Mexico but losses the battle even with 20% bonus damage?
then the war will go on until Baja will become American land, as well as all the original American territories which became under Mexican occupation (if there were such regions) 😉
So can you start a RW in a rented region whilst the rent law is in practice?

The idea was that that shouldn't be possible.
But another country can still "steal" the region. What should happen in that case?

JNJK92 - No, it's not possible.
djirtsdew - IMO, not a RW to the renting country. I'll use the example of Baja - USA rented Baja from Mexico and lost it to RoC. USA has the responsibility to keep the region under American "occupation"/rent. If RoC won Baja, then Mexico will be able to make RWs with a normal freedom bonus. When Baja is a Mexican region again - then if USA still has border with Mexico and the rent is still underway, a war starts automatically between USA and Mexico (when USA attacks), and it could go on even if USA has NE on a different country (like Hungary).
This is up to the admins, if they will decide to make renting deals part of the game 🙂

Nice idea. It would also be good to extend renting to 'conquered' regions under another country's control as well though (e.g. Poland can rent Wales to the UK, with Wales being an original UK region). it would be profiteering by the strongest countries but that's pretty much what happens anyway (Serbia and Poland have had loads of rent deals with France before). Good suggestion o7
