So you say you are not EDEN

So you say you're not EDEN? Prove it.

I voted YES on the proposal to return to peace with eIndonesia. Even if we are participating in the SOL wargames, we are not a member of SOL. We are a neutral country. If a member state of SOL gets attacked, we should not defend them. We paid the cost of the MPP's plus an additional fee to be included in these games. Be absolutely clear on the fact that Malaysia is not our ally - just an eCountry that we purchased a service from.

By defending against PHOENIX, we would be taking EDEN's side. How would this look to the eWorld? We claim to be neutral, but at the first sign of trouble we jump to the defense of Malaysia - a country we have no real history or diplomatic ties with? Furthermore, we would be fighting against Indonesia, a Phoenix country. By keeping an open war with them, we would be siding with EDEN, jeopardizing the neutral stance that Belgium has worked so hard to maintain.

And yet, you ask, wouldn't voting YES on the proposal then mean the exact opposite, that Belgium would be on the side of Phoenix? NO. By returning to peace with Indonesia, we are actually remaining NEUTRAL. We just want to close the open war with Indonesia at this point. If Indonesia attacks Malaysia again, the Belgian MPP will be activated again.

Malaysia is not our ally. We have no allies. That's sort of the point of being neutral, no?

There are two choices in this proposal vote - EDEN or neutrality. It's time for the Free Belgium party to show its true colours.
