Regarding Direction

I'm kinda compelled to write this article because, well, I have questions.
If you don't know me or didn't care before, i'm the MoD for the last 4 months.
In case you are wondering where i've been in these past several weeks: I was finishing my research and thesis in the 2nd and 3rd week of Decemeber then went on vacation on 4th week of december + 1st week of January. Yes, i'm still on vacation.
I know tomorrow is the presidential election and the baton might change to other person, but i have this urge to ask you some questions question.
But before i jump into main point,
I started as deputy MoD back in August, got promoted in September, holding the positing till now.
Some of you know how i roll.
I give direction via National feed. Because it's on home page and every eUSA citizen get access to read it (some of them have access to write on it). It's fast, easy to use and has a good coverage. I checked Allies coordination -> General direction -> Current campaigns -> Priority list then boom, Direction is created in National feed. It only takes minutes to make it.
the other media i use is via Discord, because i can use it via phone + it has dark theme.
Then came this argument:

I never care about CG and his cronies opinions, but this shout drove me to ask this questions to you, American fighter who fight for eUSA and our Allies:
I personally want to know your opinion so i won't waste my time and my attention if you don't want/need Direction posted in the National feed.
And the last question:
Hopefully with this i can plan my time next month.

Speaking as somebody who just logs onto the game and not Discord, I'd offer that info on the national feed is a quick, useful way to find out what's next, so yes keep it and yes, citizens, you're doing a good job. (Sometimes CG asks worth-while questions, but I never trust his motives given his track record of wrecking, betraying and back-stabbing.)
All I have done here is seek solutions and when members of the Administration openly complain people don't follow orders, we should not double down. We should ask, why are people not following orders and what can we do to improve upon that. Simply applauding past policies as good enough and adopting a heighten level of intransigence does not fix the main issue.

We have that channel (national feed), so use it, why not?
I’m often pressed for time, having directives in the national feed is very helpful. Keep it up!

I never knew there was a national feed until a few weeks ago when I clicked on it out of curiosity. I do think at least occasional mass blast e-mails would be helpful, although I don't know the mechanics of it.
I think is the best way too! Let's see others.

The national feed is my SOLE means of selecting daily orders for our mu. i'd LIKE Discord, but am unable to use it at this time. Carlos' paper give me some general guidelines and i constantly check the map to stay up to date, but...
Directions on the national feed have been super-helpful.

There are legit reasons why people feel this way. I said as much to CG in Discord just yesterday.

I think it is the most precise and accurate as we all have access to it, perhaps some education on this matter to most of the people, would help (to let the people know how to spend damage and when is best, ask people to check National feed as there will be Directions, im sure not everyone looks at it, i do, but im not everyone)

I would like to add that it would be of great help to post aproximate timings for the air battles, just as extra information, at least this would help me.

As someone who does not use the discord. I do find some immersion and feel closer with my eUSA community when I get any national info on the national feed. Especially directions. Alot of my logging in is done on my browser, at work, when I get a notice on my phone that my energy is full. I can quick glance at articles and the feed and be on my way to war.
Not sure what true problem this causes unless, for some people, it causes too much text to go through.
Seems odd that someone can't take the time to disregard and/or sift through the small number of daily posts in the feed.

Orders in the national feed are 100% appropriate. While working with MUs to get orders set is the obvious preference, not everyone has the time nor wherewithal to update MU orders in a timely fashion and not every MU is as active as others.
In addition, CG's article was filled with unwarranted cheap political shots directed at the current administration and others who have been actively trying to organize the eUSA for MONTHS. This should come as no surprise to the many who know about his history in this game. I said as much to him yesterday, privately, and pointed out that the political hackery in that article completely diluted whatever larger point he was trying to make.
Keep up the good work. We can always improve, and should seek to do just that. Thank you for the past many months of attention you have devoted to the eUSA cause!
The more ways it is put out there, the better! Nothing more frustrating than to have to try to figure out where we are going when you have just logged on to do some damage/keep the regeneration clock running. Shouts, Discord, messages all should be used, if anything updated more frequently.
Oh, and I think you have done a good job. We are in a better place than we were.
As a returning/new player,I think the info in the feed is vital. The game does not hold citizens hands too much,if it was not for the feed I could see so much more wasted energy.
National feed works, keep using it
The only problem with the national feed is when idiots use it to spam us with their personal shit like a stupid article they wrote, how much strength they have or exchanging gifts, etc. Use your own feed for that crap
I just want to fight for eMERICA as an eMERICAN... i dont care about the game politics so long as i know where the fight is...

I am just a 'casual' player so take this for what it worth, the national feed is my ONLY source of direction on daily fighting, etc.
I too don't go onto discord and have more or less just stuck with either looking at the national feed, and MU feed, for directions on where to go and what to do. Its helpful to have something right there that only takes a few seconds to look at, as you're logging in.
I definitely find it useful, and I certainly think we should keep it. From earlier comments I've seen, many others seem to agree. And it doesn't hurt to have it around, so why not? I don't know if it needs changes, but if it isn't broken, then no need to fix it just yet.
As for you staying on in the DoD, I think you're doing a decent job of it so far (I may not know you on a personal level, but that's my overall impression), and if you're able and willing to continue doing so, I believe we'd be glad to have you.
Also, congrats on finishing your thesis, and enjoy your vacation!

I log in here once a day every morning and follow either my MU orders or orders given in the National Feed. I may or may not -depending on how my racing is going- sign on again. I seldom visit the USA Forum which has become more or less useless and run by the few who still believe an outside forum is needed. I never visit Discord which is simply a tricked out IRC where the children play and call each other names...so no thanks to that.
While I'm on the discord, I do not regularly look at it, and when I get a few minutes to login here and punch that fight button, I need something as accessible as the National Feed. I don't want to be spammed with direct-mails (though I understand that this could be helpful on a less frequent occasion for something very important, or for high-damage fighters.) There's no other medium I would prefer or that I think is as widely effective as the national feed. You and the rest of the administration has been great, and I hope you continue to do good work.
The feed is the easiest way to reach everyone in the country at once and allows anyone having questions or comments the ability to have discussion with the people setting orders.
