Please vote yes to lower it to 1BEF and I really hope this will changed so you can go below 1BEF. If not all the money people have worked months for will become worthless. It is crazy. All the companies who had money reserves now see it fanish. Companies will go bankrupt. People who had a lot of BEF will become poor.

They are using the confusion of the V2 to reduce the mimmum wage that is Crazy.

I run a company, and yes, it is 1 currency/hour
so all of my former employees are on wages less than minimum, (0.6ish instead of 1HUF). All currencies will have to devalue:
1. minimum Minimum wage is now very high
2. everyone will sell their wage for the 5 different boosters
3. there are few new players to boost the economy

Raw materials are already crashing - in Hungary the price of stone is <20% of that 3 days ago (0.04HUF from 0.024HUF)

I would have suggested this tomorrow when I will have written my final exam anyway, v2 or not.

Just wait a month and everything will have stabilized...

This would be a viral, of at-most importancy!

What happens with the minimum wage is that salaries just became 8 times BIGGER than in v1 but with THE SAME amount of currency on all markets in eRep. So this would mean that every country in eRep will have to issue about 5-6 times more money (considering player reseves) than currently on the market so that the active firms have the means to function...

This means issuing money from GOLD, your GOLD!!

Seriously? And how do you expect new players to keep playing this game while they can't even afford food etc... to keep there health and happiness up? It is a wrong decision to reduce the min. wages because there is notting wrong with it right now. In fact if something should be done it should be an increase of the min. wages.

With current min wages a 0 skill player can buy 20 Q1 food a day. I think you do not understand that with the current min wage (with 1BEF this is also going to happen cause it is still more than 6 times more than a day ago) everything will become much more expensive. A normal worker won't win anything.

But if min wages have to go up more than 6 times at once this will mean that the BEF everyone currently has will be in the end 6 times less valuable. Companies who had enough BEF in reserve to pay their employers for a week at once loose almost all of it. Some companies will come in problems and less jobs will be available.

In the end everything will stabalize as before but it is a fact that those who had saved a nice pot of BEF get punished and loose all the months hard work. Companies that made sure their employers always got work get damaged highly.

IF MIN WAGES PER HOUR CAN NOT GO BELOW 1BEF MONEY WILL LOOSE AT LEAST 6 TIMES ITS VALUE.

It's the admins who want that to force player to buy gold...

Owkay... if you remember your wages in V1 and you compare those to you wag/hour in V2, you get an idea of what a 'normal worday' should be (+/-8,5hours). Now proposing 1BEF as a min wage a day means that one would earn 0,12BEF an hour. However one could opt to work up to 12hours a day, which would earn him/her 1,44BEF a day. In that case one would lose 1 health point and 12 happiness points. If that is the case the best buy on the foodmarket would be 'Vanir Foods' (check it if you don't believe me..) priced at 0,49BEF and giving +1,5health and +1,5 happiness.

Conclusion:
Earnings 1,44BEF
Spendings 0,49BEF
Savings 0,95BEF
Health -1 +1,5 in other words back up
Happiness -12 +1,5 or -10,5 in other words your happiness would hit rockbottom in no time

Mind taxes and other activities are not even concluded in this example, one could say that this is an optimistic view of things

New game mechanics do not make it possible for us to keep wages at what they were before V2. The new min wage proposal by Velitia is for 1 BEF/hr, which is still much MUCH higher (5 times higher) than what it used to be.

If the admins are not saying anything then it means they're not planning on adjusting it, forcing the players to spend more gold and issue more currency.

@ Velitia I earn less than 1BEF/hour... so what they are proposing is an increase of the min wage then...

Besides decreasing min wages means you will decrease the degree of prosperity means less spending power on the market means less economic growth and also means greater difficulty for new players to buy what they need because you would bring them to poverty...

Simple economics... but hey good argument that I'm a newb though... Besides a decrease wouldn't affect those who are at power. I guess since they are earning way more than the min wages and since they can afford whatever they want. Decreasing min wages would only mean that companies would be able to yield higher profits but then again new players aren't even able to buy or to start a company. So then what's really on the agenda by decreasing the wages? This reeks like a totalitarian regime.

I sugest than members of congress disclose their wages. I bet no one earns a min wage...

New members won't notice a higher or lower min wage (at least not in a few weeks) but older players will notice that the money they currently own will decrease in value (currently prob 8 times less).

So who is damaged with this much higher min wages? Players who already worked in v1 and had saved some money.

WE DO NOT WANT TO LOWER MIN WAGES BUT WANT TO BRING IT BACK TO MIN WAGES OF 1 DAY AGO.

Currently I am earning LESS than min wages. Yesterday I earned 6BEF a day (that was 4 times min wages from v1) but if today I would get a new job (even skill 0) I would earn at least 12 BEF.
But don't worry it will take a while before anyone wants to hire a skill 0 worker.
What means that all the new players won't find a job for weeks and probably quit after a day!!!!!!

Clearly I am currently earning below the min wages. Just as 99% of citizens who are still doing the same job as in v1.

I really do not get why it is so hard to understand that min wages have multiplied 8 times in one day and that is BAD FOR EVERYONE.
Currently food and guns are still cheap but don't you think that this will change very fast? If not all the companies will go bankrupt.
As soon as all stock from v1 is finished products will increase in prize exponentioally. And when this happens new players will have LESS money to spend than when the min wage would have stayed the same as yesterday.

Don't know how to explain it more. If you do not get it now you prob will never get it.
Anyway in a few weeks everything will have stabilized but players who saved some money will have lost it forever.

They have fixed the bug so please vote NO for new min wages.
Xgentis please read the posts above you. I do not know how it could have been explained better. But anyway the bug has been fixed and now the min wages is 0.15BEF/Hour
So now you will earn more than the min wage AND the prize of food and guns will not become super high.

Most people are earning less than minimum wage right now. The minimum wage would apply to all new posted jobs though.
