raw prices

Day 2,422, 06:45 Published in USA Mexico by Chalco Hills

We need more finance and econ articles. (Ok, we need a more realistic economy then maybe it would be more worth talking about, but I'm not holding my breath on that.)
So here's a quick commentary - I check this morning and find that raw material prices for weapons and food (in the USA) are both at .04. I haven't been around nearly as long as some people, but this seems highly unusual to me. So does anyone think this is a long term thing, or is it a temporary distortion?
Weapons raw prices have been slowly coming down for a few months.
Food raw materials have (in my experience) always been lower. The food market is usually more steady because food usage is limited by energy recovery, and usually prices for both finished and raws have only spiked a lot during special events with energy recovery bonuses. Bonuses like that are happening more regularly, maybe that's an influence on the overall trend.
Again, my experience isn't as long as some, and I'm just a simple small business man trying to scrape out a profit in an insane economy. I don't pretend to understand it all. Other thoughts are welcome - I'm mainly just trying to spur a discussion.
