With the recent addition of Q3 training facilities it has many people excited, and also has some scratching their heads.

I write this hoping to clear up some things.

Many people suggest a strategy where you upgrade the Free training facility to Q3 and then upgrade the 0.19 gold training facility to Q2.
Here is a breakdown of the gains available from that:

12 Days to get 260 STR and the SS medal

Cost > 2.28 Gold
Profit > 2.72 Gold

Initial Investment (based on current prices)

51.2 Gold (from Q1 for both)

After 220 Days your investment would be paid off.

But more importantly.. you would be making well over 5 gold in profit a month from SS medals and increasing your STR much quicker to get more rank points and level up faster.

Now if you compare that to having just a Q1 free training facility:

80 STR every 12 days with no upgrades

37 days for a SS medal and 5 gold profit

So, over those same 37 days you would gain 805 STR, that is 555 more STR or 2 additional Medals (with the upgrades)

So in 37 Days with the upgrades you would gain 8.16 Gold, and without the upgrades you would earn 5 gold

Now, if you upgraded your 0.19 to Q3 as well your SS medal would come 1-2 days sooner and over that 37 days you would now be gaining 898 STR which is almost 100 more.
However with this comes an additional 28 Gold investment (at the current sale price) and your break-even point gets even further away.

A final suggestion option would be to only use the Free training facility.

From Q1 to Q3 it would cost you 39.2 Gold to upgrade and you would need 15 days to get the SS medal and in 37 days you would gain 620 STR, which is 180 less than with the Q2 0.19 facility. Interestingly this method would provide 10 gold in those 37 days which is more profitable.

So for those looking for Gold and filling their coffers, this option may be the best one for you. For those who like to hit the battle field and get more medals, then the first option is certainly the best option listed here.

There are lots of other routes, just thought I would chime in a few for those with less CAD or Gold sitting around.
