Principle Practices of a Revolutionary Party

The Back Story
==============

The basic principles of the oppressor-dealer and his little gangs of lick-spittle power-mad e-lackies are: "Fuck you, screw you, rot in hell, die, get discouraged, give up."

Thus the self-serving fake leaders of our fake nations seek to control, manage, ration, and feed the chaos that is imposed by the Dealer. Their forces of ‘meta-law' enforcement impose the chaos from above.

Then there is the chaos that comes from below.

Those rude revolutionaries and free players don’t beg like dogs, wait their turn, request nicely, or plead like peons. Instead, they exercise their freedom. Have you ever seen such obscenity!

What’s really dangerous in a true chaos is when everyone becomes a collective, group, crew, a people, a party, an organization, and they learn to say ‘no’ and ‘yes' on their own terms. And they reach agreements amongst themselves. Because their ‘no’ is directed towards those who give the orders. And the ‘yes,’… jeez… that really is a disaster for the e-Oligarchy.

Imagine if everyone built their own destinies, and they decided who to be and what to do. It would be like pointing out that the e-zombie-elite class are expendable, excessive, that they get in the way, that they’re not necessary, that they should be in e-jail, that they should disappear.

A nightmare. A game world full of Indians, blacks, browns, yellows, reds, dreadlocks, tattoos, piercings, studs, punks, goths, cholos, skaters, that ‘A’ flag without a nation to buy it, youth, women, whores, children, the elderly, zoot suiters, drivers, peasants, rednecks, workers, tacky people, proles, poor people, anonymous people… others. Without a privileged space for the ‘beautiful people’… or, so you understand, the ‘experienced meta people’… because they can tell by the way we talk about the game that we didn’t study enough game mechanics and or major in "How to Build a Bot".

Evidently someone has painted something on the entrance to the meta-garden. The Platonic guards didn’t see who it was. Of course not! Ghosts don’t exist. It’s painted with a lot of colors, with a lot of colors, so colorful, very tacky, very different, not anything like the galleries of giant plastic boobs preferred by the e-dickerati.

Principle Practices of a Revolutionary Party
============================================

LEAD BY OBEYING

True leaders follow the will of the people, the desires of the larger community.

Representatives who are not accountable to the widespread desires of the community will be ousted from their positions. In many of the revolutionary e-communities, an oversight committee is created just to make sure that power is not being abused.

PROPOSE, DON'T IMPOSE

Make proposals for community feedback, rather than imposing rules without community input.

Hold consult in public spaces with the whole community on important issues and decisions. Organize players to meet for hours and days on end, speaking from their particular vantage point and experience, until the issue is resolved or until people feel they have been heard and are ready to end. Make information transparent and equally accessible, so that members can participate in decision-making.

REPRESENT, DON'T REPLACE

Always represent the needs and views of the community at the table, rather than standing as an individual in place of the community.

Run the community through some form of a Good Governance Council made up of rotating members of the community who represent for a period of time and help make decisions based on community needs and interests. The rotation is important to maintain constant accountability, democratize information, and develop everyone’s leadership.

ANTI-POWER AGAINST POWER

Demonstrate alternative power that challenges traditional forms of power.

Build creative power-under from below, the kind of power that is constantly critical of the uses of power, in particular top-down power-over.

CONVINCE, DON'T DEFEAT

Build power by convincing people toward just decisions, rather than repressing, trolling, bashing and pissing on people who disagree.

For example, rather than constantly quarreling with the Top parties, e-revolutionaries win the trust of players by showing a better way. For example, rather opening a ticket to Admin, people will go first to the revolutionary authorities for restorative justice processes that actually heal the root causes of harm and boredom and resolve conflicts and the lift up spirits.

EVERYTHING FOR EVERYONE, AND NOTHING FOR OURSELVES

Leaders are not in power to benefit themselves personally, but to fight for benefits for everyone in the community.

Challenge corruption and self-serving norms within the e-political system, in which politicians profit financially and politically from their positions. Revolutionary leaders do not receive extra benefits or live more extravagant e-lives for their role and work in the community. Publishing the accounts that detail every currency unit received and spent, for example, helps to build transparency and trust.

CONSTRUCT, DON'T DESTROY

Exercise power to build a new world to benefit the entire player community, rather than focusing all energy on destruction or opposition.

Focus on making new proposals for a global society without zombie-capitalism and hot-sweaty-war-fever, one that emphasizes mutual aid and exchange, learning from different struggles around the world, and generating new ideas and reclaiming indigenous ones to construct a viable alternative, rather than creating a reactionary platform that focuses solely on hate, critique, or re-creating real world conflict.

WE WANT A WORLD WHERE MANY WORLDS FIT

Strong communities embrace diversity, rather than needing to suppress those who don’t fit into a norm.

Historically oppressed and marginalized players within revolutionary e-communities empower themselves and speak up. The e-global anarcho-socialist movement (and its spin-offs, friends and allies) increasingly recognizes the rights and needs of women and girls, queer folks, prisoners and former inmates, and other marginalized sectors including those players from smaller or less-developed countries in the struggle for e-justice. This is practiced through the idea of Asking Questions While Walking, maintaining humility in listening and always being open to other people’s perspectives and experiences in the world, rather than claiming superiority.

This has been an unsanctioned public service announcement from the Socialist Freedom Party. You may now return to your humdrum, everyday clicking, but of course you will never be the same...

...so you might as well join us!

Lots of XOXOXOXOXOO and big revolutionary hugs to all,
