Today we saw the 2nd Prime Minister's Questions, it was, as it was last week, well organised and very informative. Yet again, the People's Gazette brings you the highlight's. It was, as always on the IRC room: http://irc.erepublik.co.uk/

Highlights

pliped can I ask why are we giving money back to the czechs?
PM because it was part of manifesto therefore I have a duty to, because it unsure if we acted legally and because it is honourable
I assure that it is well worth it in terms of goodwill
pliped but why also the congress money?
and when we need money to fight against another Indo attack?
PM I think that is asking a bit much but I shall consult with other members of the Government and HoC on that

The_Bob_Boblo Why are you looking to abolish Lords?
PM because I believe we need faster legislation

PM to get policy activated faster
to cut down on red tape
The_Bob_Boblo At the cost of mistakes?
PM a legislative advisory body I agree is necessary but returning Bills 3 times is endless

MrWoldy Do you think that Sweden's actions towards Germany are justified?
PM It is not eUKs job to cast blame at either side but to help both to reach a settlement
MrWoldy Personally, do you think Atlantis members should vote Germany out?
PM that was never the issue - the issue was whether they receive full membership - I voted yes
MrWoldy but Sweden are going to try and vote them out, no?

things may have changed
PM it is our job to help find a way out of the impasse not blame one side or the other
MrWoldy If Sweden was to Invade Germany, would the RN be deployed for either side?
PM good question - Germany have asked for an MPP but the Government has not decided on that yet - was only 15 mins ago
MrWoldy I urge it to be accepted.

scipio Will you ever make a proposal to deal with the MoH and wellness fast?
PM we are considering retaining a small part of the NHS now for those below fighting lvl
so they can get to 40 wellness then heal through war

pliped firstly why did u appoint Goku?
PM lol well he started off as hothead and still has much to learn but he does an effective job - the Irish MoFa complimented him to me privately

pliped is the irish situation resolved?
PM yes it is and we owe a great deal to both our Irish allies and American cousins

Imperator what's your stance on paramilitary groups in the eUK and other countries, and are you going to be taking an active role in Atlantis (and possible PEACE diplomacy) politics? also, can you elaborate on the Corps forces you are creating? and finally how are you going to be able to abolish the HoL when you require their approval?
PM Paramilitlitaries should join Corps, of course we shall take part in Atlantis and if Peace ask to speak we are happy to . The Corps system is going through the legislation process

External inquiry Justify why the governmental system should be democratic.
Explain why you didn't wait for the public inquiry before acting with regards to the Czech PTO
Explain what you think the likely economic consequences of the corps system are.
PM 1. The Government system IS partialy democratic - that is the game mechanics.
2.I was never actualy informed of Czech PTO when it happened. I was elected with a promise and policy to pay them back - not to pass a law on the matter.
3. I think the Corps system will save the Government money in terms of military funding

RyanMcCulloch What's happening with the NHS?
PM The government is considering retaining a small part of it to gift those below the lvl to fight up to 40 wellness
it would also be used as an advisory service

Conclusion

This PMQ has been very insightful, and helps the people get information directly from the Prime Minister. I welcome next weeks, having seen some insightful comments this week.
